Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 456

Thomas drove away and went to the tea-house where Wendy and he had an appointment.

Seeing Wendy, Thomas still looked gloomy, but Wendy was a little timid.

"Uncle Thomas, you are here."

Thomas frowned and did not respond.

He sat opposite Wendy. His gloomy look made Wendy nervous.

"Uncle Thomas, what do you want me to do?"

Wendy spoke again.

"What is going on with you and Penny? You shouldn't know each other."

Thomas must confirm it. He couldn't just believe Penny alone.

"I...actually, I wanted to ask her if she had a better way to deal with Winnie. Uncle Thomas, my purpose was still Brian, and I didn't mean to target anyone. When she asked me to investigate you, I didn't know it was you. If I didn't tell her, she wouldn't help me."

Wendy thought that Thomas had come to her for this matter, so she didn't dare to lie and could only tell the truth.

Thomas heard the same statement as Penny from Wendy, and then he took Penny’s words with a grain of salt.

"What advice did Penny give you?"

Thomas' tone was still indifferent. Wendy's value to him was not very high, so he didn't have to treat her politely.

"She asked me to check the dope on Winnie. She said that Winnie was of unknown origin. If some dirty on her was found out, she would have to leave Brian."

"And Penny taught me a very old-fashioned way, which was to let them misunderstand each other. She didn't say anything else."

Wendy might have been frightened by Thomas's cold attitude, telling him everything without concealment.

When Thomas heard this, he also understood that Penny did not know Winnie's true identity. If she knew it, this matter would have been exposed long ago, and he would have been left no chance.

"Don't contact Penny this frequently. Penny is the person Brian hates most. If Brian knows that you have contact with Penny, even if you figure out a way to deal with Winnie, he will not accept you."

Thomas warned Wendy not because he cared about her, but because he was afraid that she would say something against him to Penny.

If what he just said was considered as a warning, then the following should be a threat.

"You'd better act like you don't know about my meeting with Penny. If you tell Brian about it, I'm afraid your plan will not be implemented."

Thomas had to threaten Wendy. Once she let the cat out of the bag, his plan would not be completed so smoothly.

This time he wanted to catch Brian unprepared, and never show up until the moment he succeeded.

"Uncle Thomas, you can rest assured. I only want Brian, and I don't care about other things. I have been with Brian for so many years, and I am resentful that Winnie took him away. My prey is Winnie, and I won't get too close to Penny."

Wendy made a quick promise. She was also afraid that Thomas would leak her meeting with Penny.

Since both of them were afraid of things, they could be regarded as restricting each other.

After listening to Wendy's assurance, Thomas suddenly snorted sarcastically.

"Well...you have to work harder to deal with Winnie. My father has given Winnie the custody of the children, and he has agreed that Winnie and Brian live together."

Having said that, Thomas stopped and saw the shocked look on Wendy's face, he thought Wendy was a joke.

Such news could perturb her. How could she compete with Winnie in the long game?

Thomas continued, giving Wendy a little hope.

"Fortunately, my father does not accept Winnie as Brian's wife. So you still have a chance. But there's only one chance. You have to seize it."

After Thomas finished speaking, he got up and left.

He couldn't talk too much with Wendy. Given her muddle-headedness, she might let it out otherwise.

Thomas left, and Wendy was still in a daze in the tea-house.

Winnie had taken an important step, and it became more difficult to deal with her. It seemed that she had to speed up, or she would really miss the opportunity.

But then again, how could she speed up? She did use Penny's method before, but it didn't work. The investigation had been going on for days, and there was no result yet.

What could she rely on to speed up the progress?

Wendy was stumped by herself again and didn't know what to do.

Winnie finally moved to the outskirts of the city to live with Brian and her children. Everyone except her was happy and excited.

Especially the two children.

"Grandpa, grandpa. Now I have a family, with my dad and mommy. From now on, no classmate will dare to say that we are wild kids."

Megan danced with excitement and ran to Rufus to show off.

"Well, congratulations, Megan, congratulations, Luke. Finally you can live with your Mom and Dad. From now on, you are also the happiest children in the world."

"Winnie, here will be your home from now on. Don't feel stressed out. Don't treat yourself as an outsider. Don't carry anything on your own. Brian and daddy will share it with you."

"Don't think too much about your relationship with Brian. Grandpa doesn't accept you now, but our family admits that you are Brian's wife. You don't need to take Grandpa's opinion to heart. Brian will solve it and persuade Grandpa."

What Stella said was what Brian and Rufus wanted to say. They were afraid that Winnie would be stressful and be wronged, so they had to say some comforting words in advance.

And these words made Winnie feel warm.

Although she was familiar with living here, she still had a sense of strangeness and restraint. This might have something to do with her identity.

But Stella's words moved her especially and made her grateful. It was like she was standing in a very cold place and suddenly came a bunch of warm sunshine descending on her like hope.

"Thank you, Stella. I will treat here as my home and love everyone here."

That's all Winnie said. As for what she would encounter in the future, she didn't know whether she would ask others to help her solve it.

Maybe those difficulties and obstacles were given to her by Brian, so she could only face them by herself.

"You're too welcome. We are now a family. By the way, should we meet your aunt again? You have come to our family, we should express our gratitude to her."

Stalla mentioned Winnie's aunt suddenly. In her opinion, this was a kind of etiquette, which must be done.

But Rufus was nervous when he heard it. Finally Isobel was mentioned, was it the time they had to face it?

Rufus put his uncertain gaze on Winnie's face to see what answer Winnie could give.

Winnie was also surprised by this topic, and then became a little embarrassed.

She looked back at Brian, and finally decided to tell the truth.

"My aunt said that she didn't want to meet you in this kind of relationship and it would not be late to have a meeting when I get married to Brian."

As soon as Winnie finished speaking, the original lively atmosphere instantly calmed down.

Stalla looked sideways at his father, not knowing what to say. It might be that Winnie's aunt was not satisfied with the current relationship between Winnie and Brian, and couldn't bear to disappoint the two children.

Seeing that everyone was silent, Winnie quickly explained.

"My aunt didn't mean to force Brian to marry me. She is very traditional, and she has always opposed my association with Brian. But for the children, she would not have allowed me to come here."

"It's okay, just according to your aunt's wishes, we won't go to visit her for the time being. I must meet her satisfaction before I see her, and I will definitely give you an upright identity."

Brian comforted Winnie, holding Winnie's hand tightly.
