Chapter 69
Before Kenneth could reply, Matthew stood up with a raised eyebrow. His expression radiated cockiness.
Under the lights, the sapphire stud in his earlobe was especially attention–grabbing. He looked at Kenneth with an evil grin as he answered for him.
“Obviously, he has to pick ‘dare‘.”
The others began to holler loudly.
Kenneth smiled. He had no other choice but to reply, “Alright. Give me a dare.”
Marsha appreciated his game–on attitude and slapped the table with a chuckle. Her eyes glinted with excitement as she looked at the other players and said, “Come on! Let’s think of a good one.”
Matthew snapped his fingers and said, “I have one!” as his cocky expression lit up with an evil grin.
Everyone else knew how creative Matthew could be and turned to look at him in excitement.
Marsha rushed him impatiently, “Quit beating around the bush and tell us!”
Matthew didn’t hold back either. He jerked his chin slightly in the direction of the door and said, “Ask him to go out and confess to a hottie, then wink at another woman. How does that sound?”
Kenneth was shocked.
“Holy crap, are we really going all out?” he blurted out.
He was usually a stereotypical goody–two–shoes. That dare was a bit too far out of his comfort zone.
Matthew looked at him with an evil grin. “Obviously! It wouldn’t be a dare otherwise.”
After all, the whole point was to keep the game interesting.
Marsha looked at Kenneth with a grin and patted him on the shoulder. They looked like a couple of best friends. “Are you up to it, Mr. Zimmerman? Don’t be a quitter.”
The others hurriedly agreed.
“Yeah, exactly!” someone said.
Being called a quitter was a huge no–no for a guy.
Kenneth gritted his teeth. Screw it! He was ready to go all out.
He rolled up his sleeves and unbuttoned the first few buttons on his shirt. Strangely enough, he looked even more attractive, almost like a casually dressed prince.
There were two gorgeous ladies standing only a few feet away from him who had their heads together as they whispered about something.
He stepped forward and stood in front of one of them, who was wearing a tight white dress. Her features were more doe–eyed, but her figure was curvy in all the right places.
Kenneth’s sudden appearance caused her to step back instinctively as she looked up at him.
Once she saw his face, her eyes lit up. He was not only tall but also incredibly attractive.
Kenneth looked at her deeply and said in a low, seductive voice, “I’ve been looking at you for a while now. You’re gorgeous.”
The light in her eyes brightened. She could feel her heart beating rapidly in her chest after being complimented by such an attractive man.
She put her hands behind her back as she toyed with her fingertips nervously.
