Suzanne smirked at Lillian, who was not willing to admit defeat. "Lillian, I'd suggest you save up some money to get that brain of yours checked."
Lillian was not willing to accept reality even when it was right in front of her face.
Lillian glared at Suzanne with tears welling up in her eyes. She pointed at Suzanne with trembling fingers and yelled, "Suzanne, it's all your fault. You did it on purpose! You deliberately acted this way so that we'd be mistaken."
If Suzanne had not acted the way she did, Lillian would not have mistaken Austin for someone else.
Suzanne was so furious that she laughed. There was no point in explaining to Lillian if Lillian would not listen to anyone.
Austin looked at Lillian frostily, "Is my identity any reason for you to bully her?"
Who the hell were these terrible people in Yates Corporation? At the thought of Suzanne having to work in such an environment daily, his gaze turned even more hostile.
He said with a dangerous warning, "If you dare to do this again, you can dream on if you think I'll let you even survive in Dudore."
Lillian felt as if something was choking her. She looked at Austin in horror with widened eyes. He was so terrifying that she stopped breathing.
Warwick was still smiling ingratiatingly at Austin. He pointed at Lillian and said, "It's all this woman's fault. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have done such a thing."
He was going to blame it all on Lillian.
Lillian was so furious that she grabbed Warwick and yelled, "Warwick, you bastard!" She knew what type of person Warwick was, but she just didn't expect that he would be such a scumbag.
He apologized to Suzanne and Austin once more. "I'm sorry. I'll leave right away." Then, he ran away.
He ran until he was sure that Austin and Suzanne could no longer see him. Then, he took his phone out and called Albert.
Albert answered the call angrily, "Why are you calling me again? Do you know that you almost got me killed?"
When Albert received Gabriel's call, he thought he was going to get fired as well. Luckily, it was just Warwick.
Warwick immediately apologized, "I'm sorry for causing you trouble, Mr. Earl. Seeing how I've always been good to you, can you tell me why I was fired out of the blue?"
