When Seline jogged into the private room, Jenson was already inside waiting for her.
He looked even more handsome than the last time she saw him, dressed in a stylish black-and-white casual suit that made him look both fashionable and gentlemanly. His short hair was styled back, clearly done with care.
Seline felt a burst of joy in her chest. Did he get all dressed up just to see her?
With a soft smile blooming across her face, she closed the door and walked up behind him, wrapping her arms around him in a gentle hug. Her voice carried a slight hint of grievance. "Jenson, it's been so long since you've seen me."
She had missed him so much, but she didn't dare be too forward, afraid of annoying him.
Jenson's body stiffened slightly, but then he smiled gently and said, "Well, I'm here now, aren't I? Did you miss me these past few days?"
He pulled her around and had her sit on his lap.
Wrapped in Jenson's arms like this, Seline felt like she was floating. She nodded quickly, replying, "I did. I missed you so much."
Her eyes were fixed on Jenson's lips. Her own lips parted slightly. She couldn't hold back anymore and leaned in, kissing him. The kiss deepened, neither of them wanting to let go. Only when their breathing grew heavy did they finally part.
Seline rested against Jenson's shoulder, hugging him tightly. Her voice was soft and teasing. "I can't help it. You smell so good, Jenson. It makes me want to eat you up."
He chuckled, a flirtatious glint in his eyes. He leaned in close to her ear and whispered, "Then I'll let you. Just wait a few more days. After I finish my work, I'll come to you."
The tingling sensation in her ear made Seline squirm against him, unable to stay still. Her heart fluttered as she shyly nodded. "Okay. I'll wait for you, Jenson."
Truthfully, she wanted him now.
But this was a public place, and a waiter could walk in at any moment. Jenson was a movie star. If something like this got out, it would destroy his reputation. So, no matter how badly she wanted it, she had to hold back.
Jenson gave a low laugh. "Let's eat first. I just got back from the set, and I'm starving."
Suzanne had blocked him everywhere recently, and with his filming schedule, he hadn't been able to get in touch with her. But Crown of Destiny was about to start filming. A production of that scale was bound to be a hit. He wanted the male lead.
The series was backed by Herman's investment. That night at Night Charm Bar, Suzanne had clearly been on good terms with Herman and the others, not to mention Austin. If Suzanne could help smooth things out, landing the role wouldn't be a problem.
He finally had a break in his schedule today and made time to see Seline.
Seline's hands, which were holding her cutlery, suddenly froze. The smile on her face stiffened in an instant as a wave of jealousy surged through her, threatening to swallow her whole.
That bitch! Jenson was still thinking about her?
Her grip on her cutlery tightened as she struggled to suppress the fury bubbling inside.
Forcing a smile, she turned to Jenson and said lightly, "Sue's been pretty busy lately. I think she's seeing someone. She even had a huge bouquet of flowers delivered to the office today."
