Her Hidden Crowns (Suzanne and Austin) novel Chapter 273

There would be no better timing for a collaboration than now.

Yates Corporation had Jane Smith, the miracle doctor, on their side. Before long, their value would skyrocket, and securing a partnership with them wouldn't be this easy anymore.

Signing this contract was a no-brainer. There was hardly anything to reconsider.

Grayson's sudden shift left Henry stunned. He stared, completely baffled.

"What just happened?" he thought.

But since Grayson had already agreed, Henry wasn't about to question it. He nodded quickly. "Ah, sure. Haha…"

He had no idea what caused Grayson's abrupt change in attitude, but as long as the deal went through, that was all that mattered. Relief washed over him. At least this contract would help offset his seven-million-dollar debt.

Grayson, growing impatient, urged, "Where's the contract? Let's sign it now."

It was as if he feared someone else might swoop in and steal the opportunity. His arrogant demeanor from earlier was nowhere to be seen.

Henry nodded with a grin. "I already have it ready. Just waiting for your signature, Mr. Quinn."

He then reached into his briefcase and pulled out the contract he had prepared in advance.

Coming into this meeting, Henry had only hoped to negotiate, but somehow, he had secured the deal. A thrill of excitement surged through him.

Grayson wasted no time. He signed the contract without hesitation, and as he set the pen down, he looked at Henry with a wide grin.

"I had no idea you were Dr. Smith's father. I completely misjudged you. My apologies for any offense I caused before."

Henry froze, and his mind went blank. "What?"

Henry's rationality slowly returned. Forcing a smile, he replied, "Oh, it's nothing. We just believe in strict discipline at home."

Grayson lifted his glass, his tone warm with respect. "Mr. Yates, let's toast to a successful partnership. This meal is on me."

This deal was a massive win. Partnering with Jane's company meant boundless opportunities for profit in the future. The thought alone had Grayson grinning from ear to ear.

Henry quickly stood, filled his glass to the brim, and clinked it against Grayson's. "You're too kind, Mr. Quinn. It's a win-win collaboration."

At that moment, Henry finally understood the weight of Suzanne's name. If only she had told them sooner, none of this mess would have happened.

A mix of emotions swirled within Henry. He had no choice but to push his regrets of mistreating Suzanne aside and down his drink in one gulp.

As the evening continued, Grayson kept steering the conversation back to Suzanne, eager to know more. But Henry barely knew a thing. He had no idea that Suzanne was Jane before today.
