"Mrs. Fulton, I'm sorry. I'm here to apologize on Sarah's behalf!" Xyla fell to her knees without warning. After that, she grabbed tightly onto Lily's arm.

With tears flowing down her cheeks, she cried out, "My sister shouldn't have instigated Bruce to do what he did. That was because she's too deeply in love with Xavier! Can you forgive her? She's my only sister. What am I going to do if she ends up in prison?"

Xyla was holding rightly onto Lily's left arm. As Lily didn't dare to exert any force with her right hand, she ended up staggering forward.

Maryanne rushed toward her and pushed Xyla's hands away.

"Haven't you been surviving just fine even after she's been locked up for a few days? Why are you saying that as if there isn't anyone to care for you?"

"Sarah is my motivation for staying alive. I know that she's made a grave mistake and caused you to become tainted. I'll apologize on her behalf. As punishment, I'll slap myself—"

Xyla let go of Lily's arm. To their surprise, she actually lifted her hand and slapped her cheek.
