Receiving the instruction, Marshmallow darted to the door, pushed it open, and headed down the stairs with wiggling hips.

The Jensens had been waiting downstairs since Shannon had forbidden anyone to disrupt her session. Then they saw Marshmallow bolting over to Hector and swiped at him using its paw.

Immediately catching its intention, Hector told everyone, "Let's head upstairs."

As he was about to do that, he felt a tug on his pants. Looking down, he saw Marshmallow clinging to his long leg as if trying to climb up.

His eyes sparkled with amusement, and he bent down to scoop it up before continuing up the stairs.

Meanwhile, Adrian and Janice were already in the room examining Caleb's body and berating him. "It's all because of you! All you ever do is create trouble for us!"

As Adrian spoke, he slapped Caleb on the back, venting all the worry and frustration he had bottled up during the days his son was trapped in the doll. Now that he was safe, he wanted to beat him up instead.

Gritting his teeth, he was ready to speak when Shannon interjected him. "Don't thank me, Uncle Adrian. After all, he's paying me."

He continued, "While she's part of our family, none of you should take it for granted and think she's obliged to protect us. Therefore, I've decided to allocate an additional 2% of my and Marie's shares from the company to Shannon, on top of her existing shares."
