Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 606

The Jensens… Well, specifically everyone present, including George, was utterly stunned.

They couldn't believe their ears. Who had Benjamin just said he was?

Were Benjamin and Shannon… How did these two end up together? This had to be a joke, right?

"You're from the Coopers…" Though Marie didn't meet Benjamin often, she recognized him immediately as the newly appointed head of the Cooper family; the youngest among the four most prestigious families.

And he was dating Shannon? Marie couldn't believe it, and the Jensens were equally incredulous.

Cecily, in particular, was more shocked than anyone. When she heard him identify himself as Shannon's boyfriend, she instinctively shot up from her chair and blurted out, "Impossible!"

How could Benjamin and Shannon be dating each other? Just how long had they known each other?

Caleb and Hank were startled by Cecily's reaction, with Caleb's especially taken aback. His expression darkened as he watched her.

Benjamin cast an indifferent glance in Cecily's direction but didn't bother to respond.

Hector smiled and asked, "Why would it be impossible?" Though there was a smile on his face, there was a dangerous chill in his voice.

Cecily belatedly realized what she'd just said. She blushed with embarrassment. "I… I mean, Shannon and Mr. Cooper haven't known each other for long…"

"Such matters aren't determined by how long you've known someone," Hank remarked. Surprisingly, his statement won the agreement of the others.

Cecily was caught off guard by Hank's comment and suspected he was subtly criticizing her. She'd spent three years trying to gain Benjamin's favor yet failed terribly after all.

"The current affection level is -1 point. This target is no longer viable."

Cecily was stunned at hearing the negative affection levels.

Her eyes reddened. This was the first time she'd ever gone into the negatives. How could this happen? Did Benjamin dislike her just because she said it was impossible?

Cecily refused to accept the truth that she had no place in his heart. Though she had many targets, Benjamin had always been the one she'd wanted to win over the most.

Why did that happen?

The more Cecily thought about it, the more indignant she felt. Yet she dared not meet Benjamin's icy gaze and instinctively looked toward Shannon.
