The livestream audience became audacious.
"Livy has the right look and demeanor, but it boils down to real talent at the end of the day."
"It's good enough that she reacted so swiftly. You guys are being too critical of her."
"Maybe it's as Eddie said—that's it's just an accident?"
"Accident, my foot. All the accidents so far on the set are paranormal!"
"But the ghost didn't appear when Lulu was struck against the tree. The King didn't do anything either. It can't be targeting him."
"So, it's an accident?"
Just as the majority leaned toward Eddie's theory that it was a mere accident, Shannon and Vincent, left behind due to makeup, arrived in time.
"That wasn't an accident." Her voice was easily discernible, thanks to clarity in her tone. Everybody turned to the source before she even appeared.
The cameramen belatedly realized it and panned the camera toward the voice. As Shannon appeared in her new look, everyone couldn't help but hold their breath.
Her look wasn't considered complex; instead, it was simple. Dressed in a simple white dress, she was adorned with white feathers. As she moved, the feathers on her dress gently swayed, creating an elegant and graceful image.
Her makeup was subtle, enhancing her already exquisite features and making her appear even more ethereal. Her long hair cascaded down her back like black satin, creating a beautiful contrast to her pure white attire.
Olivia, hearing that she hadn't made a mistake, didn't know whether to be glad or disappointed. Meanwhile, Lucy asked, "But why?"
According to their original theory, the powerful spirit should've appeared when the princess tortured the female lead. Yet, the spirit never appeared when Lucy was rammed into the trunk until the king appeared…
That wasn't logical, was it? Surely, the spirit couldn't have experienced buffering before haunting a person, right?
Many at the scene shared the same question as Lucy. Shannon glanced at Olivia, then the veteran actor who played the King, and slowly piped up, "Because it was trying to protect the Princess this time."
It was trying to protect the Princess who was forced into an arranged marriage.
