With that comment, the audience, initially overwhelmed by Shannon's connection with a female ghost, now pulled their focus back to the main agenda. The last three rounds of the live assistance segment were imperative to determine the winner between Shannon and Skylar.
However…
"How is that considered cheating?"
"Right? Networking is a skill!"
"Are you guys saying having connections with a ghost isn't a flex? Huh?"
"Whatever. To me, Shannon has won!"
"I admit Skylar Fumblefoot is capable, but Shay won in the third round!"
"You guys are so biased and not even hiding it. Skylar has tried his best for this duel too! How would he react if he saw these comments? Seriously… When is he going to apologize to Livy?"
"I was so ready to pull the gun on you."
The majority of the livestream audience unhesitantly sided with Shannon. After all, this was no ordinary duel; if she lost, she would have to quit the show as promised.
With that reason alone, the audience couldn't bear to watch Shannon lose. After four episodes of Sixth Sense, everyone knew who the star and backbone of the show was. Similarly, the audience had gotten used to following bizarre stories with her.
To be fair, even if Shannon had cheated today, they would still want her to win without a question.
Skylar saw the comments in the livestream chat but didn't react.
After some hesitation, Skylar agreed.
As everyone prepared for the upcoming round, Marvin and Isaac, who had been missing previously, appeared. "How about I come up with the challenge for the fourth round?" They were each holding their phones, and it was obvious that they had tuned into the livestream.
Shannon was stunned, while the other newcomers quickly straightened their backs upon seeing their teachers.
Skylar followed suit. He greeted Marvin and Isaac before saying, "It'd be our pleasure."
Isaac smiled, then turned to Shannon. "What do you think, Shannon?"
Snapping from her daze, she quickly composed herself and affirmed, "He's right. It'd be our pleasure."
