As the two men spoke, they carefully placed the black box on a nearby table.
Elvis took the chance to take a closer look at it.
Newcomers of the mystic school watching the livestream grew increasingly restless. Since they weren't wearing microphones, the livestream audience couldn't hear their whispers, but the nearby production crew caught snippets of their conversation.
"Is that one of the 12 sealing instruments made from lightning-struck willow wood? I've seen pictures of it before.
"I know right? I heard Zidane acquired it and auctioned it off. Supernatural Delivery bought the entire set of 12 pieces."
"Supernatural Delivery's been flexing ever since their partnership with the underworld. I can't believe they're using an instrument like this just for a pickup!"
"Gosh. I really wanna touch and feel it. I specialize in instruments, perhaps I should place an order myself."
"Don't even think about it. Deliveries of this level require an insane amount of delivery points."
The newcomers continued to murmur among themselves.
Though the livestream audience couldn't hear their conversation, they could see the intense look in their eyes when they looked at the black box. Sometimes, they would glance at Shannon with admiration.
But the audience had no idea why.
Meanwhile, the two black-hatted men had donned black gloves they had pulled from somewhere. One of them gently took the broken sword from its display case.
Though the sword appeared light, he handled it with extreme care. Only after placing the sword in the box did the other man swiftly seal it shut.
Elvis watched the entire process and felt an inexplicable tension in the air. "Is there anything else I need to do after the sword is taken care of?"
Zidane replied with a click of his tongue, "Stingy."
As she was focused on her phone, she didn't notice the complicated look in Skylar's eyes.
After a long pause, he finally asked, "How did you know there was a sword spirit in the collection room?"
It wasn't something a simple spirit sight could detect, especially since the livestream didn't show the corner where the broken sword was kept while Elvis was introducing the room.
She shouldn't have been able to sense it through the screen either, and Skylar was utterly confused.
He knew there was no doubt he had lost this round. And that was the reason he needed to figure out why.
