"This is just the beginning. If you already need help standing up, you won't be able to endure what comes next.
"You might as well leave early and not hinder the proper training of newcomers enrolling," Skylar said in a cold, harsh tone.
Everyone knew who he was referring to.
Olivia was already in tears from the physical strain and felt more aggrieved at hearing his words. Her tears streamed.
Standing nearby, even Vincent and Eddie couldn't help but get mad.
They admitted that they had cursed internally more than once throughout the four hours. It had felt like this was beyond what humans could handle.
But since they were here to experience the rigorous training of the mystic school, they gritted their teeth and held on.
Olivia hadn't made a sound the entire time disturbing anyone. She only asked for help after completing the session, so why was she being singled out?
"You said it just started, so how do you know we can't keep going? Plus, Olivia finished the task before asking for help. How does that interfere with anyone?"
Vincent was usually friendly and mild-mannered, but he couldn't help responding coldly now. Anyone could see Skylar was targeting them on purpose.
The newcomers, who had been massaging their legs and were ready to eat breakfast, paused at hearing the commotion.
Most of them came from families who practiced mystic arts, but even those families weren't as rigid as the Rutherfords.
It was a new era, and geomancy could involve modern technology. None of them had any issue with the production crew being there. In fact, they found it interesting.
Still, no one dared to speak up out of respect for Skylar's status as a senior student and teaching assistant.
Skylar remained aloof after Vincent's public rebuttal. "Your presence here along with these machines is a disturbance itself."
This was becoming unreasonable.
Since Marvin wasn't around, Elliot couldn't hold back and quietly stepped forward to remind him, "Skylar, the filming was approved by the Dean."
"See? They couldn't do it," she said as she looked back at Skylar with an unwavering stare in her eyes. "But they did it today. And for that alone, you shouldn't have said what you did."
She paused and glanced at Olivia, whose eyes were swollen from crying. Then, she added, "And you certainly shouldn't use your position as a teaching assistant to bully a female student."
Skylar had been about to argue, but her final words stopped him in his tracks. His expression changed instantly.
"When did I ever use my position to bully a female student?" he snapped.
This was a serious accusation. The Rutherfords had strict rules against such behavior, and he would never do such a thing.
As soon as Skylar said so, all the guests from the production crew turned their attention to Olivia.
Shannon's expression grew even more serious. "She's crying."
Startled, Olivia looked up with a tear-stained face. Her eyes were red and pitiful.
