Shannon wanted to confirm if anything would go wrong with the study tour, so she called for Thomas to bring her a photo album of Eva's classmates, preferably one with recent pictures.
Although Thomas was puzzled, he went to look for it.
Eva overheard and asked, "Why do you need a photo album of my classmates?"
Shannon took another close look at Eva.
Although the latter didn't have the same disaster written on her face as the other children, there was still a faint black fog around her. It indicated that Eva too might encounter some bad luck soon.
Ignoring Eva's question, Shannon put Marshmallow down and let it continue playing with the other children.
What she had seen wasn't something she could discuss with the kids. If it was indeed related to the study tour, she would have to talk to their parents.
Soon, Thomas returned with the photo album of Eva's classmates. He also found their Instagram accounts, which featured photos posted by themselves or their parents, including some recent ones.
Shannon quietly admired Thomas' meticulousness as she looked through the photos he had found of the children posting updates today.
Seeing signs of disaster or the faint black fog on their faces, she was finally convinced of her suspicions.
Having so many children and their parents involved wasn't something Shannon could handle alone. She went straight upstairs to George.
George was still looking at articles about the commotion Shannon had caused online earlier today when she mentioned the problem she had noticed.
If this had happened when she first returned, George might not have taken her words seriously. But now…
His expression turned serious as he picked up his phone. "Thomas, come to my study."
Shannon stayed in George's study for about an hour before deciding to return to her room to rest for a bit.
Just as she was about to head upstairs, Scott rushed out of a room and blocked her way.
Scott shot her a sulky look. He stared straight at her and snapped in a sharp tone, "What do you think!"
Shannon gave him a cold look. "Watch your attitude."
Scott was instantly deflated. His aggressive stance disappeared as he squirmed and gave her a sad expression.
Again, Shannon had no choice but to explain, "He's not my brother. He just needs my help with something, so he's been following me around."
Scott perked up immediately at her words. "That brat's clinging to you? Where is he? Let me take care of him!"
Shannon was about to tell him not to meddle. Although they were both 14-year-olds, Scott might not even withstand a single smack from Kai.
But then, as if a thought struck her, she raised an eyebrow slightly. "Actually, you might be able to help me with something."
Scott's eyes lit up. Finally!
