The young man began by introducing himself before thanking the production crew and Vincent.

When Vincent noticed it, he was belatedly reminded of Myla. He'd asked her for a last-minute favor that day and still hadn't given her the promised reward.

After thinking about it, he pulled out his phone and opened his chat with Myla. Then, he started typing, "Thank you. If you come to Jamborough, I'll treat you to a meal and give you your reward."

He paused and deleted the part about the meal. But after another pause, he added it back.

That cycle repeated twice before a familiar voice sounded in his ear. "A meal? I'm in."

Even for someone like Vincent, who was no stranger to strange things, the voice still made his scalp prickle. That was because he was sitting alone in a private lounge right now, and there shouldn't be anyone here!

Heart racing, he jumped out of his chair and spun around to see that Myla had appeared in the lounge at some point.

"Myla!" Vincent practically gritted her name out through clenched teeth.
