Though Scott was one of the only two minors in the Jensen family, he'd always considered himself a man and never one to shed tears easily.
And now, this was the first time he broke down like a child and completely disregarded his pride.
"It's all my fault. She must be mad at me for forgetting her, and that's why she's not coming back now…"
Adrian and Janice exchanged a glance, but neither of them knew how to comfort him. Scott's words applied to all of them as well.
Though they didn't understand why they'd forgotten Shannon, the truth was that they'd done so. And now that they remembered, they had to make it right.
"Where's Hector, Adam, and the others?"
After all, Shannon was Adam's daughter. They had to obey his thoughts at a time like this.
Word had it that Thalia had awakened, but where was she?
Scott wanted to seek out Hector and ask for orders too, but he couldn't reach him.
So, the almost-grown boy started throwing a tantrum by sitting on the floor and bawling, "I want Shannon! I want her to come back!"
Holding the Stone Turtle, Hank was getting a headache from Scott's howling. He opened his mouth and was about to shout at him to shut up when every phone in the Jensen residence chimed with the same notification sound.
Given their current state of mind, no one bothered to pay attention to the internet. But by sheer impulse, Caleb picked up his phone and took a quick glance.
Then, his eyes widened. His mouth opened, but no words came out.
Seeing his expression, others instinctively checked their phones too. One by one, they froze before a wave of pure joy erupted in their eyes.
Throughout the Jensen residence, Scott was the only one still sobbing his heart out and hadn't noticed.
Even Marshmallow felt annoyed by the commotion. It picked up Scott's phone from the floor and shoved it into his arms.
