Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 2199

"I know you two are extremely busy, so leave the matter to me. I'll be sure to coordinate with the Jensens to come up with the best possible wedding plan.

"If you have any specific requests, feel free to let me know," Henry informed.

He wasn't trying to show off. As he said, it was a part of his duty as the acting heir and also a challenge he had set for himself.

More than anything, he wanted to do something for Benjamin.

Henry straightened his back, doing his best to appear mature and dependable. Before Shannon could respond, Benjamin spoke first.

"That's settled, then."

Though his status in the Cooper family remained unchanged, it was only right that a family member handled his wedding arrangements. And among them, no one was more reliable than the heir he had personally chosen.

With that single statement, he placed his trust in Henry without hesitation.

Henry's otherwise serious and composed expression lit up for a moment at Benjamin's words. Just a flicker of youthful joy graced his face before it was quickly reined back in, replaced by the same poised demeanor.

Having received approval, Henry was eager to move forward while both elders were present.

From what he knew, Julian had already been quietly preparing for this day ever since learning of Benjamin's return two years ago, so nothing about this felt sudden.

He was about to dive into logistics when Shannon and Benjamin suddenly stiffened. A powerful energy was closing in fast, enveloping the entire Cooper residence.

Without hesitation, the two broke off from the conversation and stepped outside the villa.

There, stretching across the rooftop of the grand estate, lay a massive silver-white dragon, its sinuous body coiled lazily as if it were playing with the structure like a toy.

Invisible to ordinary eyes due to its concealed form and suppressed presence, the dragon was nonetheless glaringly clear to Shannon and Benjamin, who could see its gleaming silver scales shimmer faintly in the daylight.

With a tug at the corner of her lips, she called out, "Kai."

The silver-white dragon turned his head, caught sight of the couple, and immediately let out a dramatic dragon huff.

From this clip, it was impossible to see any sign of the supposed "worry" that had kept him from doing anything.

Caught in the act, Kai had a brief moment of guilt flash across his face, but he quickly recovered and defended himself.

"That was all for entertainment value! I was getting paid, so I had to be professional about it…"

Not wanting Shannon to press further, he swiftly changed the topic, pretending nothing had happened. He asked, "So, how was the trip? Did Trevaris manage to borrow Velquin's soul?

"I heard you've manifested ten tails. Is that true? By the way, why do I feel like your divine soul energy has weakened compared to before?"

Benjamin was about to explain that she had damaged her soul during the battle with the three Doomscourges, but she cut in. "I didn't manifest my tenth tail."

Benjamin froze for a moment, then cocked his head at her, surprised.

Shannon met his gaze and lowered her voice. "When we were in Celestria, I did momentarily grasp the power of ten tails. But after returning… I can't sense it anymore."
