Now, they had witnessed it with their own eyes.
The phoenix in the sky was a divine sight to behold, accompanied by another fire phoenix. The scene unfolded like a blazing rebirth.
Though they were merely watching, it felt as if they could feel the warmth of the phoenix's flames. In fact, it seemed as though the flames were melting the snowflakes drifting through the sky.
As soon as that thought sprouted, one exclaimed, "The snow has finally ceased!"
It was as if a signal had been sent, pulling everyone's attention away from the breathtaking sight of the phoenix's appearance.
Soon, everyone noticed the falling snow had come to a halt at the very moment the coronation ceremony ended and the phoenix took flight.
"Has the snow really stopped, or is it a mere coincidence?"
In the past few days, the snow had indeed stopped at times, but it was always for only a brief hour or two. More often than not, it merely shifted from a blizzard to a heavy snowfall, then to a light snow.
The endless cascade of snowflakes had become a nightmare for the people of Northreach. Yet now, whether by coincidence or not, the snow had truly stopped.
Could it be because of the coronation?
Everyone wanted to believe this was a miracle from the sky. If there were a miracle, they would wholeheartedly follow and honor their King and Queen.
It was only then that the people began to discuss the strange phenomenon in the sky.
Unbeknownst to them, Elowen stood in the void above, listening to every word spoken below, while her hands continued to move in shifting mudras.
Today's phenomenon, rather than being a "surprise" prepared by Lucan and Elowen working together, was more in line with the original plan set by Benjamin and Shannon.
Elowen reminded herself, "This isn't meddling with one's karma; this is simply a gift."
Even if the Divine Power knew she was meddling, it couldn't fault her for it. No matter what, she was determined to make a grand move.
With that thought, she spread out her spiritual energy and the power belonging to the Ten-Tailed Elythune.
The silver-white energy rippled outward from her, and within moments, it expanded to cover all of Northreach.
As the energy waves passed, the once-swirling snowflakes seemed to freeze in place for a heartbeat, then vanished without a trace.
If Benjamin were here, he would sense that within the power of the Ten-Tailed Elythune being released, there was a trace of Divine Power mixed in.
Only the Divine Power, capable of controlling the seasons and halting the flow of time, could make everything stop.
