Cornelius was the first to make his move.
Once the dragon formed in front of him, a wave of cold iciness washed over his eyes.
His childhood days of struggling alone to survive, being abandoned, called a monster, and enduring endless bullying flooded his mind. Scenes of the day the woman died and left him with nothing to tie him to the world followed.
All of that came from the dragon standing before him now.
It'd once just lived in his imagination. But right now, it was real and right before his eyes.
Even if this wasn't about passing the second duel, he was going to beat the hell out of the dragon.
As Cornelius shot forward like lightning and hurled himself at the dragon, Bianca resignedly launched herself toward the seven-tailed Ruler of Foxes.
Fine. Worst case, she'd just get thrashed again.
The only difference was that Shannon wasn't by her side to share the pressure. She probably wouldn't last long on her own.

Heston looked at the version of himself standing across before turning to glance at Lexie. His eyes carried clarity unlike the other.
Instead of attacking, he asked, "Lexie, do you want me to turn into him?"
That vague anxiety had been with her for a while, but when the true, fearful Unmelting Bone stood before her, her heart oddly calmed down.
She raised her hand and pointed at the Unmelting Bone. Then, she looked at Heston. "Heston, let's take it down together."
Heston couldn't understand her fear but nodded seriously at her words. "Alright."
In the blink of an eye, he vanished and teleported to the Unmelting Bone. Then, he swung a fist at its face…

Over 20 different split-screens across the venue lit up with motion at once.
Inside and outside the venue, the livestream audience was left breathless. Their eyes couldn't keep up as watching one screen meant missing another.
Thankfully, the Mystic monitor allowed recordings. As long as they watched through MysticApp, they didn't have to worry about missing the action if they left, like Internet users watching the mysterious livestream.
