Elliot turned to Shannon and lowered his voice. "Shannon, do you know what item of yours they took?"
Shannon shook her head.
To avoid any hinting or spoilers, the officials didn't specify what had been taken. Since this was a test, the chosen items were likely disguised or altered; they wouldn't appear in their original forms.
"Though we have no idea what it is, it should carry our energy since they stated it's a personal belonging. With Phantom Market full of mixed energies, we'll have to check each stall one by one."
Team Seastone was the first to make it into the market since their group had smoothly entered the ghost gate.
As the six contestants split into teams and ventured deeper into Phantom Market in search of their belongings, the split screens showed other teams still trying to figure out how to get into Phantom Market.
Phantom Market had fixed entry points. If one couldn't enter through the ghost gate, one could still access it through those designated locations, but it would take time.
The Demon Control Agency's team, Team DCA, had planned to use those fixed entrances.
As they looked down on dealing with ghosts and interacted with them, the only entrances they knew of were from a hundred years ago. None of them were in Jamborough.
If they had to travel to one of those entrances and retrieve their items within the three-hour limit, they clearly wouldn't make it in time. That meant they had to open a ghost gate and enter through it.
The next question was…
Surely some of the mystic masters would have the means.
The six demons exchanged glances and promptly agreed to the plan. They split into teams of two and began searching for the presence of other mystic masters contestants.
Bianca's first instinct was to search for Shannon's team. She was sure Shannon would know how to get in, and the latter certainly wouldn't mind taking her dear aunt with her.
Just as she brought it up, Cornelius flatly shut it down. "No need to find their group. She's definitely entered Phantom Market."
Somehow, Shannon seemed like she'd surely succeed.
