Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1968

Unlike the college tournament, the mystical tournament was on a much grander scale. It was jointly hosted by the Special Security Agency, mystic schools, and the Demon Control Agency.

In addition to students who won in the last three years of college tournaments, Special Security Agency, Demon Control Agency, and renowned mystical families each had a few recommendation quotas.

To maintain fairness, those recommended had to be representatives of the younger generation from each faction.

Shannon's team had represented Seastone School of Mystic Arts and won last year's college tournament. She had absolute eligibility to join the upcoming mystical tournament.

The only issue was the side she'd represent.

In the Special Security Agency conference room, the the head of Department of Field Support said, "Though Shannon and Lexie joined the agency last year, their strength is among the top of the younger generation members. I suggest we allocate them each a spot for the mystical tournament."

The heads of other departments had no objections.

Despite being new to the agency, both had performed outstandingly in Seastone's The Rift incident, research into the Rift barrier, unraveling Ghost Mist's conspiracy, and dealing with the Drakenshade clan. They'd earned considerable merit.

Someone voiced a concern. "I have no issue with them representing the Special Security Agency in the mystical tournament, but what about Seastone School of Mystic Arts? Their team won the college tournament last year."

The head of the Department of Field Support waved it off. "So what? The mystical tournament isn't strictly team-based. Without those two, Seastone School of Mystic Arts still has four people left."

Frankly, representing the Special Security Agency had far more prestige than the mystic school!

Sitting at the head of the table, Luke tapped his fingers casually on the desk and cut off the discussion. "Give them the slots. As for whom they represent, let them decide for themselves."

The Demon Control Agency thought the same thing. So, when the mystical tournament had just started preparations, Shannon received confirmed quota notices from all three parties.

Lexie received two notices, which were more than enough for her to brag in her family group chat.

Both sides wanted her. That was an almost impossible choice to make!

Mike was kind of disappointed that no one fought over him. He'd made up his mind that if the Special Security Agency offered him a spot, he'd auction it off, and the highest bidder would get him.

Skylar had both the mystic school's spot and one from the Rutherford family, but he ignored the latter entirely. He turned to Shannon and asked, "Have you decided which side you'll represent?"

He didn't intend to interfere with her choice, but as a mystic master, he hoped she wouldn't represent the Demon Control Agency.
