Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1933

"Although your grandmother seems to have a bad temper, it doesn't change the fact that she's a once-in-a-lifetime talent in our clan. With her guidance, Shannon's cultivation will benefit far more than it ever could at a demonic school."

Not even Reuben or Thalia, Louise's offspring, had the chance to receive her guidance in their cultivation. But with Louise's promise to grant Shannon the freedom to use the clan's resources, it was an offer too good to pass up.

Though everything sounded reassuring, Thalia couldn't help but stay temporarily in Jamborough, just like Hector, on the pretense of wanting to accompany her son and daughter.

Meanwhile, a solitary Adam felt an unexpected urge to move the whole company to Jamborough.

After sending him away, Shannon fulfilled the invitation and arrived at Wynthorpe Manor.

Thalia and Benjamin came along with her, much like parents seeing their child off on the first day of school.

This time, they didn't need to force their way in. The moment their presence was sensed at the entrance, the red gate automatically opened.

Shannon and the others followed the directions, passing by the Soul Tree on their way. It was then that she saw Caelan, bound beneath the Soul Tree, his supernatural energy being drained away.

Caelan clearly saw her, too. A faint trace of shame and anger flickered across his otherwise numb face as he turned away, refusing to look at her.

Shannon, however, wasn't one to take pleasure in someone else's misfortune. With a shift of her gaze, she turned away and continued walking toward the spot indicated by Louise.

Only after her figure disappeared did he slowly turn his head, his eyes filled with unwillingness, regret, and… jealousy.

He had already heard. Louise, the former Ruler of Foxes, would personally be instructing Shannon and Bianca. He couldn't deny that the gap between him and them had already become an insurmountable chasm.

The group first arrived at the courtyard where Louise was staying. This time, she wasn't lying inside the house but instead sitting lazily in a lounge chair, still looking as relaxed and casual as ever.

Marilyn was nearby, using seven tails and her hands to give Louise a shoulder and leg massage, serving her attentively. However, Thalia knew that this was actually a form of punishment.

As far as she knew, demons didn't need to eat regularly like humans. There was only one demon restaurant in the Demon District, and there wasn't even a cafeteria at the demonic school.

With that said, she calmly replied, "I have, Great-Aunt Marilyn."

Marilyn was speechless. "Take that old-fashioned title back, and I might consider being friends with you," she thought.

Before Marilyn could say anything more, Louise, clearly having little patience, straightened up slightly and said, "Enough with the greetings. Let's move straight into the cultivation now."

As she spoke, she waved her hand, and silver-blue foxfire flew out, almost as if it were scorching the very space around them.

In the blink of an eye, Shannon found herself transported to another space that felt like an illusion.

Those who had been in the courtyard earlier, including Benjamin, had all disappeared. The vast space was now empty, with only her remaining.
