The mystic light blossomed, and fireworks filled the night sky.
Shannon had created the fireworks talisman herself, the same ones used for the grand fireworks display Benjamin had gifted her on her birthday. However, these ethereal lights were not meant for him today.
Instead, they were for the spiritual beings of Antique Village.
An hour ago, Thalia had used Supernatural Delivery to return the spiritual replicas secretly swapped from the Eldoria Museum. Reintegrating the split half-souls into their original forms was far easier than splitting them in the first place.
To celebrate the reunion of the spiritual beings' half-souls, Antique Village was unusually lively and festive, with fairy lights of all kinds hanging high, giving the village the feel of a festival.
The silk parasol spirit began to recount an ancient festival she had once witnessed. It was far more lively and beautiful than the scenes in TV shows, with fireworks lighting up the sky as the King watched from the palace towers.
She sighed, "In recent years, fireworks have been banned, and the most you'll see down in the town are children setting off firecrackers. It's been so long since I've seen real fireworks."
Hearing her words, the other artifacts, now drawn into the conversation, wore expressions of nostalgia. Sensing their yearning, Shannon smiled and said, "If you wish to see it, you can."
And so, right there and then, she began to draw the talisman and cast the mystic light fireworks.
With the barriers around the mountain now fully restored and an additional isolating shield in place, the commotion didn't attract the attention of the villagers below.
Whatever happened outside, the mountain remained a place of joy and celebration.
Benjamin stood beside Shannon, watching the "fireworks" explode above them. The mystic light bloomed and faded away instantly—no smoke or residue.
This was a talisman created specifically for him, the old Benjamin.
It was less about the spell and more like a playful charm she used to make him smile, reminiscent of the time when she had used the tiny dancing paper figure to amuse him.
Strangely, as memories of their past together drifted through his mind, Benjamin realized that he could always see himself as an observer in those memories, distinctly separating who he was now from who he had been.
But now…
The message immediately interrupted all of Shannon and Benjamin's plans because Hector had gone missing.
He had disappeared abroad. In the brief moment it took to enter a room, his presence vanished entirely.
Thalia had noticed the loss of his energy right away and rushed to the location, but there was no trace of him. It was clear that this wasn't just a simple case of abduction.
He had been with the Special Security Agents on their mission, and with his disappearance, the Agency was now responsible for finding him.
Shannon's first instinct upon hearing the news was that Erick and the Devil Hunter Association were behind it.
However, they still needed the support of Crisea to establish the Rift barrier, and from any point of view, it wouldn't make sense for them to target someone from Crisea at this time.
Even if they discovered that Thalia had swapped out the artifact replicas at the Eldoria Museum, it shouldn't have been a reason to go after Hector, an ordinary person.
