Bianca didn't think there was anything inappropriate about her question and repeated it seriously.
Scott almost exploded after hearing it for a second time. "The Jensen family has a daughter, so why would we need you?"
Shannon was Adam's one and only, irreplaceable daughter. It was a known fact within the entire Jensen family.
After Cecily's incident, Hank immediately became wary at the mention of someone wanting to take Shannon's place. "You want to replace Shannon? Why?"
Wasn't Bianca supposed to be their aunt?
Bianca's expression shifted slightly before she adopted a slightly sorrowful look. "Because… I want to experience what it feels like to be cared for by siblings."
She sighed. "You don't understand. I hold a relatively high status in my clan, and because of that, the demon cubs my age don't play with me.
"They might treat me politely, but in reality, they don't see me as a senior at all. They work together to seclude and bully me…"
As she spoke, she lowered her head and looked utterly dejected.
Thankfully, she was talking to the three Jensens. If it were any demon cub from the Wynthorpe family hearing this, they probably would have fallen to their knees and cried out to the heavens.
It was true that Bianca had no playmates in the family, but that wasn't because of her high status and immense talent. She simply refused to play with anyone weaker than her!
Plus, no one could even defeat her! She'd nearly beaten up every younger member of the Wynthorpe family at some point.
If not for the fact that they couldn't beat her in a fight, they would have long since lost patience with her and her constant dramatic antics.
But this was an internal matter of the demon clan and something Hank and the others had no way of knowing. From what they heard, Bianca's words carried an air of deep loneliness.
"I'm just really jealous of Shannon. I want to experience what it's like to have siblings. Is that wrong?"
"No way."
Zane typed. "The Jensen family can only have one Shannon."
No matter what Bianca's intentions were, the Jensen family would never accept another woman who could influence Shannon's place, let alone replace her. The entire Jensen family was of the same opinion as well.
Bianca looked at the three, noting their alert yet firm belief in rejecting her idea. Her wounded expression gradually faded and was replaced by her usual calm demeanor.
She looked at them for a long moment and softly said, "Remember what you've said today. Don't ever let anyone replace her as the Jensen family's child."
She returned to normal in the blink of an eye, and her words felt strangely cryptic. Scott had yet to process what she meant when she suddenly pulled out a red string.
Her eyes swept over the three before she handed it to Zane. "This red string contains one of my fox furs. If you ever encounter an uncontrollable situation, break the string."
