Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1858

Negotiations between the Mystic Arts Association and Erick concluded swiftly.

Shannon's demands for compensation were clear. Other than the exchange of unique materials and instruments, the Devil Hunter Association was to mediate and facilitate the return of certain artifacts from the Eldoria Museum to Crisea.

Of course, it wasn't all because a full return was impossible. But even recovering a portion was enough.

Shannon had devised a plan with the artifact spirits of the Antique Village to replace museum-held originals with perfect replicas. Now, it was finally time to put that plan into action.

Brooklynn, the emerald broccoli, had been entrusted with the task. Over nearly half a year, she'd mastered flawless replication abilities and successfully recreated most artifact replicas.

With this trade, they could use the replicas to swap out their half-spirit true forms in the Eldoria Museum, so the replicas would turn into dust decades from now. Then, the artifact's original plan could resume.

In the Special Security Agency office, Shannon, Benjamin, and the others listened as Luke relayed the final terms of the negotiation.

"Erick is of Eldorian nobility and the perfect candidate for this mediation, but it will take some time. After he leaves, the Devil Hunter Association will send representatives from various nations to enter Crisea and study the Rift barrier technique…"

Luke paused and turned to Benjamin. "With so many foreign mystic masters gathering in Jamborough, there will inevitably be people trying to stir up trouble though we've made our stance clear.

"So, my suggestion is to leave Jamborough for now, Sire."

As the Dragon Vein, Benjamin had never intended to stay in one place after his awakening. His prolonged stay in Jamborough had been due to unique circumstances, so he had no objections.

Then, he turned to look at Shannon.

Shannon was utterly baffled. Why was he looking at her? The question was meant for him, not her.

Hearing Luke's suggestion to have Benjamin follow her to Antique Village, Shannon paused briefly and agreed.

Given Benjamin's current identity, she would never expect him to travel around with her. Now, she did not feel the need to tie herself to him either.

Plus… Antique Village held a special meaning for both her and the former Benjamin. She couldn't imagine what their interactions would be like if they returned there together.

Luke had a point. Benjamin would be freer elsewhere with so many foreign mystic masters flooding Jamborough.

What truly convinced her was what Luke had said. "Sire is naturally solitary. Apart from me, he's never allowed anyone to accompany him on his travels, and now, he's found someone he's willing to travel with.

"If you don't take him along, he'll most likely leave Jamborough, and no one can find him."
