HeartBroken novel Chapter 37

Chapter Thirty Five

"Let it be Hammad, it's of no use." She painfully whispers, tears welling in her eyes.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? He practically abused you and you're defending him?" He yells in anger.

Sahaan is about to reply, but stops hearing a loud shriek.

They both turn towards the door and sees their aunt standing there. She is eyeing their proximity with a disgusted look.

"What’s going on here? Don’t you have any shame, Sahaan? You called a non-mehram into your room and you're dressed like that in front of him?” She yells loudly.

Hearing the commotion, everyone rushes upstairs and into Sahaan’s room. Seeing everyone at her door, Sahaan hurriedly covers herself with her scarf.

“Why are you covering yourself up now? First, you trapped my son, and now you’re after him? Shameless girl!" She yells and moves forward, trying to snatch the scarf, unknowingly holding her bruised arm.

Sahaan screams in pain and falls down. Isra and Amrah, along with her mother, rush towards her and slowly remove the scarf from her bruised arm to see the wound.

All of them gasp seeing it.

"Enough is enough, aunt! Don’t open my mouth. I was only here to help her." Hammad yells at Ayesha.

A punch on his face takes him out of his trance.

Ahmed stumbles back and holds his jaw. He looks up to see Hammad in front of him, like a raging bull.

"What did I tell you? That not even a fly should come near my sister. But here we are! It hasn’t been two hours since your promise yet look what you did.” He’s about to punch Ahmed once more, but his grandmother comes in between them.

“What are you saying, my love? Did Ahmed do this to Sahaan?” His grandmother asks him.

"Ask your beloved grandson! I don’t even know what else he did to her.” He breathes heavily.
