The rest of them fixed their gazes on Mandy. At that moment, she was furious.

Harvey only sighed inwardly. He finally understood it now. Regardless of the incident concerning the shopping centre, Senior Zimmer would never do anything to Zack.

After thinking about it for a short while, Harvey sent a text message to Mandy.

Mandy glanced at her phone, and then trembled slightly. It was because Harvey had asked her to agree to resolve this issue. He also wanted her to make a request.

Mandy looked at Harvey, who smiled faintly and said, “Trust me.”

Mandy remembered what happened the day before yesterday. She chose to believe in him. In that instant, she took a deep breath and stood up. She said, “Grandpa, you should know more than me how troublesome this problem is. Since everyone thinks that I’m able to resolve this, then I’ll have to go to York Enterprise again…”

At that, Zack couldn’t stop his sneer.

‘Mandy, do you really think you’re the one who established York Enterprise? Do you think it’ll help if you go there in person?’

Still, this was a great chance to kick Mandy out of the Zimmers. Although the loss might be substantial, Zack felt it was better than having to compete against her for the position of heir in the future.

“Tsk! Literally everyone knows that!” Zack spat coldly. “If you’re unable to do it, don’t step forward. Don’t blame it on me later when you fail!”

“Zack. Since she’s willing to take the full responsibility, we should just let her be.” Quinn said, just as coldly. “But before that, we need to confirm something. What should we do if you fail?”

The Zimmers rose in anger. Currently, Mandy was the project manager of the shopping centre. If she was also appointed as the finance manager, no doubt she would be the most powerful and influential person among all of the Zimmers. If she was in charge of the company finances, how would it be possible for them to manipulate and embezzle the funds for their own gain?

“Mandy, what a preposterous request! How could Grandpa possibly allow you to take care of our finances?” Zack snorted. ‘That post is extremely important. How is it possible for Grandpa to give it to Mandy? She’s spouting nonsense!’

Quinn sneered. “Mandy, it never occurred to me you’re such an ambitious person. You want to own the whole company by yourself. Do you want to be the family heir? Why don’t you just make a direct request and say you want to be the CEO?”

Mandy said calmly, “The Zimmers are involved in business, so I’m certain we’re familiar with one single truth. That is, the risk must be in proportion to the profit. All of you want me to go and resolve something which is not under my responsibility. You also want me to endure the compensation of four hundred fifty million dollars alone. I can agree to that.”

“Therefore, shouldn’t you give me some great benefits in return? Quinn, if you want this position so badly, you can go and solve this problem. If you succeed, I’ll even give you my post!”

“Not just her. If any of you think you’re capable, you can step forward right now. I’ll give you the chance!” Mandy looked at all of the Zimmers in the hall. However, no one dared to look at her back directly in the eyes, even when she could see them perfectly. They knew very well that they could never be dragged into this mess.

Senior Zimmer took a deep breath, and said slowly, “Mandy, do you really have a solution for this problem?”
