Harvey York's Rise to Power novel Chapter 17

Read Harvey York’s Rise to Power [by A Potato-Loving Wolf] Chapter 17 – They were stunned and soon broke into a burst of laughter.

Don sneered and laughed too. “Harvey, is this your evidence? Don’t you think it’s hilarious?”

“Mr. Xander, why are you wasting your time talking to a fool? I don’t even believe anything he said!”

At that moment, Zack could not endure it anymore. He stepped forward and snatched away Harvey’s old phone, and smashed it onto the floor. He then pointed at Harvey and scolded him, “You’re just a live-in son-in-law! Why are you always putting on a show? You even claimed that you’d got evidence! F*ck you!”

“Get lost this instant! We’re disgusted by your very existence!”

“How could we have such a person like you in our family…”

“A good-for-nothing!”

Everybody from the Zimmers took the initiative at that moment just because they felt that they had been humiliated deeply by Harvey.

They certainly knew that Harvey couldn’t be the new CEO in York Enterprise, but they felt like Harvey was underestimating them in that instant.

“This…”

It was beyond Harvey’s expectation that Yvonne had ceased using her current contact number which she had been using for three years that day. The main thing was she did not even inform him that she had changed her contact number. Now he failed to contact her.

Mandy had a confused look at that moment. She hesitated for a short while and said gently, “Harvey, I know that what happened tonight is a great blow to you. But why did you tell such an obvious lie? You really don’t have to do this. I didn’t agree to divorce you.

Apologize to Mr. Xander this instant. If not, if this incident is made known to the others, and the new CEO of York Enterprise learns that someone is impersonating him, the consequences might be unimaginable.”

Harvey was slightly astounded. He did not expect Mandy to defend him at a time like that.

Witnessing that scene, Don could not hold himself back anymore. ‘If I allow this live-in son-in-law to stay with the Zimmers still, he ‘ll certainly ruin my plan.’

Thinking of that, Don took a step forward and said coldly, “Senior Zimmer, your live-in son-in-law is quite good at pretending. It’ s not a good sign. He might create troubles. If my new CEO learns about this, you’ll certainly lose the funding that you need. If the new CEO is angry, he might even make you go into bankruptcy.

“You better kick him out of the Zimmers today. If not, you’ll be burdened by him sooner or later.”
