When Danielle arrived, she saw that other fans had all sorts of comforts, yet only Maverick’s fans were shivering in the cold wind. As an agent, she couldn’t bear to

Maverick was naturally displeased to be publicly reprimanded. “Isn’t this something you, as my agent, should be handling?”

“I let you handle this because I have other of your matters to attend to. Today, you need their support and understanding, yet… Also, I’ve told you so many times. already. Why can’t you remember!”

Danielle was thoroughly infuriated, retorting icily, “There’s no need for your grand efforts.”

“I was already going to do it, and yet now you don’t want me to. Are you picking a fight with me?” Maverick retorted angrily.

Daniell wasn’t planning to pick a fight. When she realized he hadn’t done something, she immediately took steps to rectify the situation. He even went as far as to make excuses for Maverick, apologizing to the fans on his behalf.

Even if she had planned to leave, she vldn’t abandon the responsibilities that came with being an agent.

Just then, Maverick’s assistant returned.

Seeing nothing of interest, Isabella continued to search for gossip. Alexander was right, after all. After reaching an agreement with Maverick, Hendrick proposed a method to handle public opinion. They really did plan to use Danielle. They’ll pretend that it was Danielle who caused Maverick’s and Mirabelle’s breakup back then, leading to misunderstandings. Now, upon their reunion, the misunderstandings were cleared. Hendrick willingly stepped back, allowing the couple to get back together. All three of them will be portrayed as wonderful, leaving only Danielle as the villain. However, Maverick still has a shred of conscience left. He disagreed with the proposition, planning to figure out a different solution later. However, he certainly didn’t feel as if Danielle owed him a favor and should therefore back down.

Rosalie angrily typed as she grumbled in her mind. This is outrageous and totally unacceptable. He’s utterly shameless and so… 

Christopher thought, How is this any different from a villain who attempted to harm someone and demanded gratitude from their victim? 

His self–righteousness sickens me. Why didn’t the three of them paint Mr. Lynch as the villain? He’s the real culprit, isn’t he? Or did they not want to? pondered Isabella.
