Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1942

On his wedding day, Randy was a wreck.

Marion stood by him, watching him fumble his tie.

"Were you this nervous when you got married?" Randy asked. "Any tips? God, how do I tie this thing?"

He was a bundle of nerves, unable to do anything right.

Marion didn't look up. "I wasn't as nervous as you."

"No way. You tied your tie right?" Randy was skeptical.

Marion shrugged. "I wore flip-flops to my wedding. The driver caught it just before I picked up Debra."

Randy's jaw dropped. "And you're saying you weren't nervous?"

"Compared to you, I was fine."

"Damn it. What should I do? Tie this for me?"

"Not my thing."

"What the..."

Randy bit back a curse.

He wanted to give Erica the perfect wedding. He couldn't screw up today.

"Do you think Erica's as nervous as me?"

"Maybe."

"From today, you're my cousin-in-law. I'll cover your ass."

Marion looked up at him, and Randy corrected himself. "I mean, I'll take good care of Erica."

"No one will."

"What should I do?"

"You've got three hours till the wedding. Figure it out, or you are toast. Erica will have your head, and your wedding night will be your funeral. Nice touch, though."

Randy froze.

There were only three hours left, not enough for him to fix anything.

"Good luck," Marion said, clapping his shoulder.

Randy felt like the world was crashing down.

The wedding was full of twists and turns. The preparation was agonizing, but luckily, he married the woman he loved.
