Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1899

Before Debra could respond, Liza dragged her to the side of the deck.

Marion frowned, not getting why they had so much to chat about.

Liza whispered something to Debra, who nodded seriously.

"Can we do it?" Liza asked.

"I think so," Debra said.

Liza sighed in relief and waved at Marion. "Marion, come here!"

Marion walked over, skeptical.

Liza pushed Debra into his arms. "Debra wants to learn to surf, but she's never done it. I've got two boards. Teach her, yeah?"

"Wanna learn?" he asked.

She'd never mentioned surfing before.

"Yep!" Debra replied. "I've never tried it, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Mind being my coach?"

"Sure." He nodded.

Liza smirked and stepped back. The crew handed them two surfboards.

The rescue team sprang into action. Marion reached her first, pulling her onto a rescue boat, where he quickly started CPR.

The boat started moving without him noticing. It stopped near a small island.

Debra opened her eyes and tugged him off the boat.

On the yacht behind them, Liza, Erica, and Randy waved. "Enjoy your date! We'll pick you up in two days!"

Debra explained, "This island is owned by the Eatons. No one's gonna bug us. Happy now?"

Marion sighed, "Just don't scare me like that again. I can't handle it."
