Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1804

Lillian's head throbbed under the barrage of questions.

She covered it, ignoring the chatter about her mom's old love life. Right now, she needed to figure out how to survive PE.

In the principal's office, Juan lounged at the desk.

Ben handed over a stack of files. "Sir, you've got three international meetings lined up, plus an online press conference this afternoon."

Juan glanced at his watch. "What time is Lillian's PE class?"

"First period after lunch."

"Clear my schedule then."

"Making Lillian run again? Well, she's a bit fast."

"I'm not asking for miracles. Passing's fine."

"Controlling the score is a little tough for her."

"Then she'll learn."

Debra and Marion had spoiled Lillian rotten, letting her coast.

With that laid-back attitude, she'd tank the legacies of the four families and his family as well.

This time, he'd make her figure it out on her own.

Lillian took off like a rabbit on steroids.

Farrah gaped in the next lane. The guys cheering her on also froze.

Lillian ran with her eyes shut, then peeked. Juan's stare was ice-cold.

Flustered, she slowed down. But then, worried about failing, she sped up again.

To everyone else, she looked like a car with a busted gas pedal, alternating between zooming and braking.

The weirdest part? She wasn't even winded. By the last lap, she somehow kicked it up a notch, still steady.
