Erica pulled Debra out of the room. "Alright, my lady, it's time to get all dolled up. After today, you'll officially be an adult. Enjoy your last bit of childhood while you can."
Debra had been looking forward to this day, but when it finally came, she felt a little melancholic.
After this, she would become an adult, which meant no more being spoiled or throwing tantrums.
Several big shots arrived for the party. Since the Frazier family's place wasn't as big as the Potter family's, they had decided to host the dinner at the Potter Mansion.
The Potter Mansion had never been open to the public before, let alone hosting guests. It showed how much importance both families attached to Debra.
A sleek car pulled up in front of the mansion. Jeffrey stepped out first and opened the car door for Claudia.
In an aqua dress, the international film star grabbed everyone's attention as soon as she made her entrance.
Jeffrey offered her his arm. Claudia smiled sweetly and linked her arm with his as they walked into the mansion together.
She glanced around. "Has Juan not arrived yet?"
"He doesn't want to come," Jeffrey replied.
"How can he always be thinking about work? Call him over."
"As you wish, my queen."
The call soon went through.
"Juan, where are you? Your mom is upset. Hurry up and get here."
"I'm not interested in any coming-of-age parties."
Jeffrey glanced at his watch. "This isn't any party. The Frazier and Potter families are influential. You have ten minutes to come over."
She stared at her reflection and suddenly felt lost. Her looks were great, but something seemed to be missing.
Just then, the door swung open.
"Debra, are you ready yet?" Jordan grumbled, freezing at the sight of her appearance.
She turned her head and asked, "What's up?"
"I asked if you were ready," he said.
"I am." Debra stood up.
The dress hugged her waist perfectly. She twirled in front of him and asked, "Pretty, right?"
