Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1251

Randy floored the gas pedal, speeding all the way to the Nichols Group headquarters.

The security guards at the gate stepped forward to block them. "Mrs. Houston, Mr. Osborne, you can't go in."

"Get out of my way!" Randy growled, slamming the accelerator.

The guards panicked and scrambled to the side. A loud crash echoed as the car smashed through the glass doors.

"Go! I'll cover for you," Randy urged.

"Got it." Debra leaped out of the car and bolted into the building.

The guards tried to stop her, but she stared them down, taking the executive elevator to the top floor.

By the time she arrived at the meeting room, everyone except Juan had already left.

It had been a while since they last met, but nothing about him had changed. Ever cold and composed, he closed the laptop in front of him. With Joe standing by his side, he seemed to be that same business tycoon who ruled Seamar City.

"Juan, you should explain this," Debra demanded.

Juan glanced at her and replied nonchalantly, "Mrs. Houston, you're a little late."

But instead, he denied it, "I don't know. It has nothing to do with me. If you're here to attend the shareholders' meeting, you're too late. It's already over. Instead of questioning me, why don't we talk business?"

"Business? What business do I have with you?" Debra asked.

"The 10% stake you bought from Theda," Juan said, his tone calm. "Since my grandmother has already paid you, you should return it."

"I can return it," Debra said icily. "But we're not done. We'll settle the matter around Drake."

Juan feigned confusion. "And what's your relationship with Drake? As I recall, he caused you a lot of pain in the past. And now you're standing up for him? That doesn't add up. Unless you take a liking to him and want to abandon Marion. If that's the case, you'd better think twice. The Lowe family is nowhere near as powerful as the Houston family."
