Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1198

Theda took her seat and continued, "I didn't come right away because I was waiting for someone. As everyone knows, Mr. Nichols' shares are not in my hands. So, I was waiting for the share transfer agreement to be handed over to me. Only then can the ceremony be perfect, right?"

Just then, someone knocked on the door.

Theda said, "Come in."

Robert entered and handed a folder to her.

"What took you so long?"

"Sorry."

"Never mind."

What mattered was that the agreement was now in her hands.

She opened the folder, and inside was a thick stack of papers.

The first page was blank. She frowned and flipped it over until she saw a big, glaring turtle drawn on it.

Her face turned dark. She continued to flip through the papers quickly, surprised to find that the turtle had transformed into an animated gif. Then a fist appeared next to the turtle, and the middle finger was slowly raised toward it.

"What's this? Where did you get this file?" she huffed.

Melody gave no heed to Theda's complaints. Her eyes were fixed on the agreement.

Theda closed the file and said, "Thank you all for electing me as the new CEO. Now please excuse me. I have something to attend to."

"Theda, wait," Melody called after her.

Theda's face twisted with anger. "Even now, you're still clinging to the shares. It looks like you don't value your life at all."

Debra was aware of the danger of holding onto the shares, and yet she was still here. Theda believed it was driven by her greed.

Debra shrugged. "Who said I'm holding onto the shares? I'm here today on behalf of the largest shareholder, Mr. Lowe."

The shareholders were even more confused.

"Drake Lowe? What does he have to do with this?"

"How could the shares end up in his hands?"

Debra spoke again, "I'm here to deliver Mr. Lowe's message. He doesn't support Ms. Buchan becoming the CEO. He sent me to ask all of you. Will you listen to him or Mrs. Nichols Sr.?"
