Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1173

Marion rushed over to check on Debra, who was lying on the ground.

After making sure she was uninjured, he heaved a sigh of relief.

"You scared the hell out of me."

"I'm sorry. I miscalculated."

Cathryn was frustrated about their interaction. "You will never get the answer from me."

With a bitter laugh, she stepped back, tilted her head back, and fell from the fifth floor.

The crash startled Drake, who was still searching for Debra. There, Cathryn lay in a pool of blood.

The scene reminded Drake of Yvonne, who had died in the same way.

Maybe in their minds, suicide was a way to make the men they loved feel regret and sympathy.

But in reality, it only earned them cold contempt. No one would pay attention to those who didn't even value their lives.

A woman's scream suddenly rang out. Drake looked over with a frown.

Liza was terrified, her face turning pale. While struggling to breathe, she managed to say, "S-Save Debra."

Drake snapped back to his senses and let go of her. Liza gasped for air and coughed.

Having learned her lesson, she explained, "When I went up to the second floor, I lost sight of Debra after 20 minutes. You need to hurry and search. Isn't this your territory? How could you not find her?"

"You went to the second floor? Tell me every single detail. When did you lose track of her? Why did you split up?" Drake demanded.

Liza replied quickly, "When we entered, Cathryn said she wanted to play a hunter game. The hunters were supposed to chase and kill us. She asked everyone to go after Debra. Debra led me to hide and told me to wait for her on the second floor. She never came back. There were screams all around, and I didn't dare make a sound. This is the whole story. What are you waiting for? Go find her."
