Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 669

Lindsey looked around and felt that this European décor was somewhat familiar. Her gaze fell on a huge white porcelain vase at the corner. It was about a meter high and about 30 centimeters in diameter with a slender body. It looked very delicate.

After looking at it, her memory gradually returned. The vase in front of her was exactly the same as the one she had seen when she was a guest in someone else’s home.

Lindsey also clearly remembered that the porcelain vase was originally a pair that were shipped back by Liam Wilford from Europe, but soon after, one of them was accidentally broken by Allie.

She was in the Wilford mansion.

Lindsey then noticed that there was a faint smell of dust in the air, which was probably because this place had been unoccupied for a long time.

However, the house looked clean. Since every light in the house seemed to be turned on, it created the illusion that this house was always occupied.

Lindsey thought about what Ann said on the phone, that she was in fact, Allie Wilford. Lindsey did not believe it at first, but now, she somewhat believed her.

‘But why did Allie want to seek revenge on me?’

While she regained consciousness, Lindsey's other senses gradually returned to her. She then realized that she was tied to an armchair. Her hands and feet were tightly bound. It seemed like Ann was afraid that she would run away.

"You’re awake?" A voice suddenly came from behind her.

Lindsey was startled and tried to turn her head, but she could not. Luckily, her mouth was not gagged, so Lindsey asked back in a cold voice as she controlled her emotions calmly, "What the hell do you want?"

The woman behind her slowly came up to her from behind. She lifted Lindsey's chin with her perfectly manicured fingers. "Don't be so anxious. Our audience isn’t here yet. When they’re all here, then we’ll start the show..."

Lindsey did not understand what she was talking about when she said “the show”, but Lindsey could vaguely guess who she was waiting for.

"You're waiting for Zayn?"

Ann nodded. Her thumb and index finger pinched Lindsey's chin hard. "You’re not as dumb as I thought after all!"

Lindsey did not take it as a compliment.

"You said you’re Allie Wilford?" Lindsey tilted her head to look at Ann. Although she was looking up at her, she did not look weak at all.

There was a flash of agony and viciousness under Ann's eyes that were caught by Lindsey. She was shocked for a moment, but before she could react, Ann fiercely released Lindsey's chin. Her sharp fingertips left an abrupt red mark on Lindsey's chin.

"Shut up!" She suddenly bent down towards Lindsey and yelled, "You’re not worthy to mention that name!"

Lindsey was taken aback by her sudden outburst.

Ann started shouting nonstop. "You don't deserve anything, Lindsey Juhl! I treated you as my best friend, yet you treat me like this?!"

As Ann said that, she suddenly threw all the delicate tableware, candle holder, and fruit tray that were placed on the table to the floor like she had lost her mind.

"You’re not worthy! None of you are! Allie Wilford is dead, don't you know that?"

A piece of broken porcelain flew past Lindsey's ear and scratched her earlobe. Bright red blood dripped down her earlobe and Ann's gaze was suddenly fixated on the drop of blood.

Ann stared at it for a long time, then suddenly reached out to fiercely pinch Lindsey's earlobe and pulled it hard. The wound became bigger and the blood kept oozing down the earlobe.

"You...you’re really Allie?" Lindsey's voice trembled a little as if this was extremely incredulous. She suddenly recalled the first time she saw Ann and the inexplicable familiarity she felt from her.

‘So, this wasn't an illusion?’

Ann seemed to have returned to her normal self in an instant. She looked at Lindsey coldly and said, "Or else? Do you think Allie Wilford should just die as you wish?"

Lindsey gulped and shook her head. "No, I always thought you left to find your mom and dad. I even asked Zayn to look out for your news."

Even after Lindsey found out that Allie probably had something to do with Liam kidnapping her, she remembered the time that Allie saved her. Thus, Lindsey just let it go regardless of Allie’s involvement.

After all, at that time, Liam jumped into the sea and died.

Ann’s cold voice interrupted Lindsey’s words. "You asked Zayn Guggenheim to look out for my news? Then what? What did he tell you?"

Lindsey recalled what Zayn told her at that time. He said that there was no news of Allie and that he would ask someone to keep an eye out for it.

She did not think much about it at that time.

So, Allie went to get full plastic surgery, took Lindsey's biological parents, disguised herself as Ann, and followed them back to the States just to take revenge?

"Did he tell you that he couldn't find me?" Ann moved closer to Lindsey and asked her in a soft voice. In fact, she was able to cover up 90% of her coarse and unpleasant voice this way and most people would not think that there was something wrong with her throat at all.

Lindsey did not say anything, but Ann suddenly slapped her in the face and shouted, "B*tch, you all deserve to die!"
