Lindsey nodded. "Yeah, watch your step."
She heard that the Moeller family was very wealthy and powerful. When she saw this, it was really something else.
Ginny did not know that Lindsey and Yvette were coming over. Lindsey followed the maid in. Before she entered, they heard Ginny screaming in exasperation, “Get out of my house!”
Then, there was a charming female voice that spoke in a British accent, "Ginny, why are you so mad? I'm just telling you the truth."
Lindsey's brow furrowed as she listened. She quickly walked around the foyer and saw Ginny in the living room wearing a baggy sweatsuit and no makeup. Meanwhile, across the room, there was an elegant woman in a gown and was heavily made-up.
The woman had a typical British look with a high nose and deep eyes. Her light-green eyes were incredibly beautiful.
There were broken vases on the floor.
Lindsey's heart tightened and she hurriedly took a few steps forward. "Ginny!"
The hatred in Ginny’s eyes dispersed for a moment. "Lindsey, why are you here?"
Ginny tried to force a smile, but after several attempts, she failed and just went to hold Lindsey's hand.
Lindsey also held hers in return and felt that Ginny's hands were frighteningly cold.
"Who are you?" The heavily made-up woman looked at Lindsey and Yvette with unfriendly eyes.
Although Lindsey did not know what was going on here, she could tell at a glance that this woman did not have good intentions.
Lindsey ignored the woman and helped Ginny to take a seat, She looked at Ginny’s belly worriedly, "Are you okay?"
Ginny nodded. "Yeah. Sorry that you had to see this."
She had never seen Yvette before. Ginny hurriedly greeted her and invited her to sit down. She barely squeezed out a smile. "You’re so pretty. Did it scare you?"
Yvette shook her head and said sincerely, "Thanks. You’re also pretty."
She was indeed the youngest among these people. The only one younger than Yvette was Sieben, who to her dismay, called her “Auntie”.
The maids rushed to clean up the broken pieces of glass on the ground. It was surprising that everyone seemed to ignore the woman who was so high and mighty.
Lindsey noticed from the corner of her eyes that the woman whose posture was still elegant had a distorted face after seeing that no one was paying attention to her.
"Ginny Young! Why are you so smug? Your stomach is so big yet you’re still just his fiancee. What a joke!" These vicious words came out from those beautiful red lips.
Lindsey saw Ginny's chest heaving violently and reached out to squeeze her hand.
Ginny took a few deep breaths. Her nails dug into her palms and she stood up violently. She was not exasperated like earlier. Her face was just cold.
"That’s still better than not being able to get pregnant because your husband isn’t willing to so much as look at you even if you lie naked on the bed. I guess being a wife in that sense isn’t much better than just being Terence's fiancée, right? Oh, right...didn’t you use to hold this title, Second Sis-in-law?"
Ginny’s words were aimed to hit the woman where it hurt most. The woman could no longer maintain her elegant front and screamed as she lunged at Ginny, who was standing in front of the sofa.
"I’ll be fine." Lindsey blinked. The conversation between Ginny and her sister-in-law earlier was short, but Lindsey could already deduce Ginny's position in the Moeller family from this. If Ginny took the blame for this, Ginny probably would never progress in this family.
Lindsey just did not know what Terence's reaction would be when he returned to this mess. She was not sure if he would stand on the side of his so-called "second sister-in-law" indiscriminately and found fault on Ginny...
Last time, Ginny mentioned that Terence's ex-fiancée was married to his second brother. Lindsey guessed that it should be this woman in front of them.
Lindsey squinted her eyes and found it a little strange. This “Second Sis-in-law” was clearly still obsessed with Terence. If Terence was also still infatuated with her, then they should have loved each other and this woman would not look like that. She would not have found fault with Ginny, right?
There was no need for the person who was really loved to pretend to be victorious in front of the unloved one.
For the first time in a while, Lindsey's thought process was so clear.
The woman on the floor was still crying and wailing, but no one came forward to help her up.
Terence came much faster than Lindsey anticipated.
It was not just Terence who came over. Zayn, Shaun, as well as Finn Moeller, whom Lindsey saw was with Yvette earlier, also came. There was another man with strong features, who also resembled Terence, that came over.
He was probably Terence’s second brother.
The Moeller family's genes were simply amazing. Terence had an almost demonic charm and Terence's second brother was very handsome, while Finn, who was the youngest son, was also very good-looking with a clean and friendly look.
After Terence came in, he swept a glance at Ginny. When he saw that she was fine, he finally let out a breath of relief.
