This was the first time Laura got shouted at by Andre after so many years. She was dumbfounded and felt ashamed and annoyed after she realized it.

"Why are you shouting at me?" Laura roared at Andre as she was hurt.

All this time, she thought he adored her so she had always felt like a queen in front of him. And now she couldn't accept it seeing his mean attitude.

"Why? Do you know how much harm that will do to Clara? How could you do this to a woman?"

Andre had always known that Laura would try every means to hurt Clara but he was still shocked by her after hearing her plan. How could she plan to have people rape Clara?

Laura didn't even think it was wrong to do this, but Andre's emotional response raised her doubt. Andre knew Laura hated Clara and he had even agreed to help Laura before. But why would he argue with her now for Clara?

Looking Andre in the eyes with doubt, Laura asked unpleasantly, "Didn't you say you'll help me? Why are you taking her side? Did you fall in love with that bitch?"

On the other side, Clara was in the ward with Helena after she got out of the surgery. Helena was still in a coma due to the anesthesia.

The doctor said that this surgery was successful and Helena was out of danger but Clara was still worried sick. She couldn't feel easier in her mind until she saw Helena waking up.

Clara was pretty tired after rushing back from Thailand and waiting outside the operating room for so long. But she didn't want to get rest and just kept sitting by Helena's bedside and checking on her as she was afraid that Helena's condition would get worse.

Helena's lips suddenly moved but Clara couldn't hear her clearly. Clara stood up and got closer to her lips in case Helena was not feeling well. Then broken sentences came into Clara's ears.

"Laura, Laura, I miss you, my baby girl..."

Hearing Helena's mumble, Clara sat back in her chair and was drowned in sadness and sorrow.

After so many things she had done for Helena, and she still only loved Laura, her other daughter? What about Clara? Had Helena treated Clara like her real daughter for two decades?
