Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3670

Marina laughed awkwardly. "Work has just been crazy lately. I'm just a little tired."

Summer didn't press it. "I'm going to pay. Let's grab food after."

Noticing that Summer had decided to buy both outfits, a knowing look flashed in Marina's eyes. "Are you dating? Did you say yes to that guy at work?"

Summer looked away, blushing heavily. "We're just... testing the waters. It's not totally official yet!"

Marina threw an arm around her shoulder, genuinely thrilled for her. "Congratulations on getting off the market!"

Summer grew even more flustered. "My parents don't know yet! We've barely even started!"

Marina grinned. "For you, this is a massive leap forward. You deserve to be celebrated!"

Suddenly, Marina's phone rang. It was an out-of-town number. She stepped aside to answer it.

"Hello, is this Marina?" a bright, masculine voice asked.

"Yes," Marina replied politely. "Who is this?"

The man laughed. "Grandpa Wallace sent me. I'm in J City right now with some things he wanted me to give you. Do you have time to meet up?"

Marina was completely caught off guard. "Sure! Where are you? I can come to you."

"I don't really know J City," he said. "Just pick a spot and I'll use the GPS to get there."

Marina gave him the address of a restaurant across from the mall. "I'll wait for you there."

"Great, I'm on my way."

Hanging up, Marina was incredibly curious. What had her grandfather sent her? Why hadn't he called ahead to warn her?

And why not just use the mail?
