Miranda took both boxes and opened them. A look of sheer shock crossed her face before she pulled the contents out to show them.

Marina was stunned. This was way too much of a coincidence!

Carson didn't miss a beat. "Marina bought a matching pair. One for the left wrist, one for the right. We just wanted to present them to you separately."

Miranda happily played along, smiling warmly at Marina. "They are gorgeous. Thank you."

Marina let out a slightly awkward laugh. "I'm just glad you like them."

Miranda handed the bracelets to her personal maid, Claire. "Please place these on my vanity."

"Right away, ma'am," Claire replied respectfully, taking the jewelry.

Miranda turned her attention to the centerpiece. "What a breathtaking cake!"

The cake was entirely frosted in a creamy ivory white, with a delicate border of edible pearls. A single, immaculate white sugar rose sat perfectly in the center. It was clean, minimalist, and exuded a sense of pure elegance.

It was the perfect match for Miranda's aesthetic.

Carson let out a soft laugh. "It looks so good, it's almost a shame to slice into it."

Marina shot him an amused look. She firmly planted the chocolate plaque he had written on into the frosting and lit the candles. "Make a wish, Miranda!"

Miranda pressed her palms together, her expression deeply sincere. "I wish that Marina will be here to celebrate my birthday with me every single year."

Marina froze, completely caught off guard.

Carson laughed out loud. "Mom, if you say it out loud, it doesn't come true!"

Miranda blinked, then quickly squeezed her eyes shut. "Then I'll just have to make a new one!"

Marina didn't have time to overthink the wish. She was too busy laughing at Miranda's unexpected, adorable reaction.
