Xavier offered a faint smile. "Just call me Xavier."

Wyatt snorted. "If that's the case, why did you even need me to step in?"

Xavier gave a helpless chuckle. "At first, I honestly didn't know this hotel belonged to my family. Later, when you mentioned you found the manager and could handle it, I decided not to complicate things by revealing my identity. I never expected everything that followed."

When he met with Wyatt on Saturday, he had been completely in the dark. It wasn't until Sunday, when he and Norah were touring Bloomfield and happened to pass the resort, that he spotted the Hanson family's corporate logo. That was when he realized the resort was a Hanson development.
