Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2336

Hogan was utterly floored. "She's gone mad!"

He stood up, panic written all over his face. "Susanna's been spoiled rotten by me, and I apologize on her behalf!"

With that, he slapped himself across the face.

Charlie didn't even glance at him. "So, my daughter isn't spoiled?"

"No, no! She was always unruly, which is why I sent her abroad, but I never expected her to return the same way!" Hogan was beside himself with anxiety.

Charlie's face was stormy, and he remained silent.

Hogan quickly pulled out his phone and called his driver. "Have you found Susanna?"

The driver replied anxiously, "Yes, sir, we've found Miss Susanna. She's been tied to a tree and has passed out from the cold, but the estate staff won't let me take her."

Hogan's face hardened. "Break her legs!"

"What?" The driver was stunned. "Sir, what did you say?"

"I said break her legs!" Hogan glanced at Charlie's expression and gritted his teeth as he commanded, "Both of them! When she wakes up, have her crawl over here and apologize to Ms. James's daughter!"

"Understood, sir!" The driver responded fearfully.

Hogan hung up and turned to Charlie. "I'll have her come over and apologize to Ms. James, and you can decide when you've been appeased."

Charlie coldly retorted, "And cause another trauma for my daughter?"

Hogan hurriedly replied, "That's not what I meant. Mr. James, what do you suggest as atonement?"

Sweat streamed down Hogan's forehead as he stood before Charlie, slightly bowing.

Andrew entered, glanced at Charlie, and said remorsefully, "Charlie, I'm really sorry!"

Charlie, puffing on a cigarette with his eyes downcast, spoke in a cold tone, "Andrew, we've been friends for over a decade. Tell me straight, do you have anything to do with this?"

Andrew showed signs of panic. "Charlie, you know our friendship spans over a decade. I wouldn't cross you!"

"I admit, I wanted to ditch Susanna, but her hurting Kya was never part of the plan."

"I was planning to bring May along. My mom found out I was heading to C City and called Susanna ahead of time. I only realized she was in the car as I was leaving."

Charlie lit another cigarette, the rising smoke blurring his stern face, and said calmly, "From now on, don't bring people of questionable character into our circle."

Andrew quickly agreed, "Charlie, even without your warning, I've learned my lesson."

Charlie concluded, "I'll take your word for it this time. It's over now. You can go."
