Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 1800

Chapter 1800

The police showed up and headed to the third floor to gather evidence.

Magdalen instructed the manager to comfort the injured, encouraging them to seek medical attention first, with monetary compensation to be discussed later.

Taking advantage of Magdalen's momentary preoccupation, Estelle slipped away to the restroom.

Her palms were stained with blood. After cleaning herself up, she leaned against the sink, lost in thought.

The music box had been sent from overseas, but that didn't necessarily mean that the person out to harm Magdalen was abroad.

Magdalen was always flamboyant in her actions, particularly when dealing with the women who tried to seduce Morrison. She never held back, and had rubbed many people the wrong way.

But whoever dared to attempt on her life so brazenly must bear her a deep grudge and wield significant power.

They wouldn't dare to offend the Langston family and the Sampson family simultaneously otherwise!

She was determined to expose this person before the wedding. Or she wouldn't be able to rest easy.

After lingering in the restroom for a while, Estelle was about to leave when she overheard a phone conversation from a nearby corner.

“Antonia, was it you?"

It was Kevin's voice.

Estelle paused in her steps, a chill sweeping across her eyes, narrowing them.

Kevin seemed agitated by the other end’s response, “I know it was you. Louis told me you'd been inquiring about a new type of explosive. I was worried something happened at your home, not realizing you intended to take revenge on Magdalen!"

“Have you lost your mind?"

“Murder is punishable by law!"

Antonia, too, sounded heated. Even from a distance, Estelle could hear her shouting through the phone, “I can't swallow this indignity. I want revenge!

Kevin, you've already betrayed me. What right do you have to lecture me?"

After Estelle left, Kevin walked over from behind.

All the injured had been taken care of and the police had collected evidence, ready to conduct an investigation at the customs.

Magdalen was about to leave as well when Kevin caught up with her, "Magdalen, are you okay?"

Magdalen stopped and turned around, her expression indifferent, “You love me?"

Kevin nodded instantly, “Yes, Magdalen, I really love you."

“I find your affection contemptible!” Magdalen scoffed, “When I was holding that music box earlier, you backed away, didn't you? Is that what you call loving someone?"

She was holding a bomb, and everyone was backing away from her, everyone except Ella, who ran towards her.

Kevin was taken aback, his face a picture of embarrassment.

Indeed, he had instinctively backed away earlier.
