Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 1785

Chapter 1785

"Congrats, Charlie! Now you've got a wife and child, you're the winner in life!"

"I still don't understand. Can someone explain to me how Emily's daughter suddenly became Charlie's?"

“Emily, you really need to clarify this for us. When did you sleep with Charlie? Even Charlie himself doesn't know!"

"This news is explosive, I'm going to make Charlie trend and promote it!"

Charlie laughed, "Can you guys chill out? If you have any questions, ask me, not Emily!"

Emily, feeling embarrassed by the crowd's teasing, dragged Estelle to the balcony for a chat.

Carson smirked, "Charlie, who was the one who told me to stay away from Emily? You're not being fair in this matter, man. Spill it, what did you do to Emily?"

Charlie talked to everyone for a while, his grin growing wider. He then sat next to Jonathan, introducing, "Jonathan, let me introduce you. This is my daughter, Kya."

Jonathan glanced at him indifferently, “Can you be a bit more discreet?"

Charlie, hugging Kya close, responded, “Why should I be discreet with such a lovely daughter?"

Jonathan turned his head away, ignoring him.

Charlie held Kya up for Jonathan to see, "Doesn't she look just like me? My mom even dug out my childhood photos, and we're identical!"

Jonathan smirked, "As for your daughter looks like who, when Manley first showed up with her, I thought she looked like Manley!"

Charlie's smile froze, and he scoffed, "Right, when Estelle brought Kya to Carson's engagement party, I thought she was Estelle and Manley's child!"

Jonathan's expression darkened.

Charlie boasted, “Actually, it's not a great feeling. I can't eat or sleep well: just want to keep staring at her."

Jonathan didn't want to stay any longer.

Estelle and Emily sat on the balcony, enjoying the evening breeze and chatting.

The subtle fragrance of cocktails wafted through the air, and the laughter from the crowd around Charlie and Kya added a touch of warmth to the autumn night.

Emily leaned on the railing, her eyes soft, “After all the twists and turns, I ended up with Charlie."

Estelle, lazily reclining in a wicker chair, smiled, "It's good that you've figured it out!"

Emily took a sip of her drink, gazing at the night sky, whispering, ‘Perhaps it's because my father was a gambler, I prefer a stable life. I don't like risks or uncertainties, so I've always been hesitant in my relationship with Charlie. But after knowing what he has done for me, I felt that if I didn't take a chance, I would truly be unfair to this relationship."
