Chapter 1733

After she finished her presentation, she returned to her seat with her design draft.

Charlie came over and sat down, saying in a low voice, "Both of you did a good job, Gavin and I will take another look at your drafts when we return."

Ron chuckled, "These are just the preliminary drafts. Mr. James, please don’t hesitate to voice any concerns, even if it means having them revise their work."

He finished speaking, his smile growing wider, "How about today? Mr. James has been in a hurry during his last two visits, and we haven't had a chance to properly host you! I'd like to invite you and Mr. Gavin for dinner as my treat. We can all sit down and discuss the drafts in detail."

Gavin chimed in, "Sounds good, Mr. James doesn't have any other plans tonight."

Charlie gave him a glance, but didn’t say anything.

Ron excitedly said, "That's great! I'll make a reservation right away.

Gavin turned to Emily, smiling, "Emily, you should come too. We can discuss your design in more detail during dinner"

Before Emily had a chance to respond, Ron immediately replied on her behalf, “Of course, Emily will definitely be there."

The meeting temporarily concluded, and Ron instructed his assistant to book a restaurant while he took Charlie and Gavin to the lounge for a cup of coffee.

As everyone started to leave, Emily returned to her desk to tidy up her belongings and make a call to Ms.Simmons.

Chad returned to his office, sitting in his chair with an unpleasant expression .

His assistant poured him a glass of water, trying to comfort him, "The James Group hasn't confirmed whose design they'll use. Don't worry too much, Chad."

Chad asked, “Who do you think has the better design, me or Emily?"

As they were heading to the restaurant, waiting for the elevator, a colleague, Allen, spotted Emily and cheerfully fan over, "Emily, are you off work? Let's go together!"

Charlie turned his head, casting a glance at Allen with an inscrutable expression.

Emily, standing behind him, told Allen, "I have plans tonight, you go ahead."

Allen lived in the same direction as Sunset Ridge, and occasionally they would take the subway together after work.

“Alright; Allen approached and only then noticed Charlie and the others standing in front. He whispered to Emily, "I'm having some problems with my design, can you take a look at it tomorrow morning?"

Emily nodded, "Sure, I'll help you out."

As the two of them whispered to each other at the back, Charlie, standing at the front, furrowed his brows slightly. When the elevator arrived, he took a long stride and entered.
