Chapter 1711
Half an hour later Jonathan found Estelle in a police station near the bar, sitting on a bench.
Estelle didn't notice him until he got close. She looked up, her expression was rather innocent. "I don't know why the bar people would call the police for such a minor matter!"
Jonathan bent over and pinched her cheek, his tone calm as a summer lake. "When the police called to tell me you got arrested for fighting, I was not surprised in the slightest!"
Estelle looked a bit guilty. "It was difficult for Magdalen to fight in a skirt. "
Jonathan gently coaxed, "How about we don't go drinking with her anymore, okay?"
“What's wrong with drinking with me?" Magdalen approached with a cheeky smile. "Even without you, I would have resolved the issue and safely escorted Ella home!"
Jonathan straightened up and shifted his gaze to Kevin, who followed behind Magdalen.
Kevin felt a chill run down his spine under the man's icy stare. “I didn't call the police!"
"I know.’ Jonathan nodded faintly. “But you should stay away from Magdalen in the future. Otherwise, next time you get hit by Ella, it won't just be a kick"
Kevin turned pale, seemingly wanted to say something, but the overpowering aura around the man made him involuntarily submit. He opened his mouth but didn't say anything in the end.
“Let's go home!" Jonathan took Estelle's hand and turned to leave.
Millard was waiting outside. Knowing that Magdalen had been drinking, he drove her home.
Jonathan took another car to drive Estelle home.
Estelle turned her gaze to Jonathan and said seriously, "Magdalen won't like Kevin. Even without Antonia's affairs, she wouldn't like him!"
Jonathan chuckled, looking at her. “Silly!"
“Hmm?" Estelle raised her eyebrows.
Jonathan explained, "Morrison loves Magdalen. He's just too sure of her. If another man appears and passionately pursues Magdalen, do you think he can still be so patient?"
Estelle's eyes lit up, and she looked at Jonathan with a raised eyebrow. "Jonathan, you're quite knowledgeable!"
Jonathan pretended to be profound. "I've been there!"
Unable to help herself, Estelle laughed. She turned to look out the car window. The city lights reflected in her eyes, twinkling like countless stars.
