When Elaina arrived at the bar, Jalen was already waiting at the door.

“I knew you wouldn’t bear to let me stay alone.” Jalen smiled and stepped forward. He took Elaina’s bag and led her into the bar.

“Don’t flatter yourself. I’m here to keep an eye on you, and followed Jalen to the second floor.
