Chapter 203
“Ms. Gainsford.”
A familiar voice came from behind. Elaina looked back and said in surprise, “Ms. Lory, what a coincidence.”
“True that.” Alisha came over and introduced Elaina to the man beside her. “This is Elaina
Gainsford, the famous Dr. Gainsford of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She is also Mr. Dorthea’s student.”
“I know. She is Mr. Halton’s ex-wife, right?” Deven said.
Alisha nodded and leaned against Deven. “Yes, Ms. Gainsford is much better than me.”
“In my heart, no one is better than you,” Deven said.
Elaina found it funny to see them showing affection in front of her.
It was impossible for Alisha to love Deven so much. Otherwise, Alisha would not have tried hard to marry Jalen.
Elaina thought that Alisha wanted to show off and didn’t want others to think that she was having a bad time.
“Stop it. Ms. Gainsford is watching us,” Alisha smiled shyly and pushed Deven away.
Deven also looked at Elain with a smile. “Hello, Ms. Gainsford, I am Deven Stein.”
“Hello.” Elaina nodded as a greeting.
“Mr. Murphy.” Deven looked at Theodore, who was beside Elaina. He obviously knew Theodore.
Theodore slightly nodded and remained indifferent
Elaina nodded. After that, Alisha left with Deven. It seemed that they didn’t come to the supermarket for groceries but especially came to meet Elaina.
After they left, Elaina looked at Theodore beside her. Theodore’s face was sullen. “Theodore.”
“Why did you agree?” Theodore said coldly and unhappily.
“She deliberately invited me. If I didn’t agree, wouldn’t it mean I’m afraid of her?” She chuckled and said, “Don’t worry, Theodore. Alisha is not that stupid. She won’t do anything to hurt me tomorrow.”
The Lory family was about to go bankrupt, and Alisha just married into the Stein family. Even if Alisha wanted to do something, she didn’t have the ability.
Theodore still frowned. He always felt that Alisha was up to no good. “Since she doesn’t want to do anything, why did she invite you to lunch?”
“I don’t know. She probably wants to show off to me.” Elaina didn’t think Alisha could show off anything though.
But who could know what Alisha was thinking?
