Falling For My Mysterious Wife by Cassidy Alfaro novel Chapter 129

Chapter 129

Jaydon and Jalen were at loggerheads. Elaina lowered her head and ate the food in front of her, completely ignoring them.

Just when the two almost fought, Elaina looked up at them.

“I am not interested in both of you.”

Jalen and Jaydon were lost for words.

She put down her fork and said to Jaydon, “You guys continue. I’m full. I’ll go back now.”

“Ella…”

As he spoke, Elaina had already left the private room. This made Jaydon a little upset. He shouldn’t have argued with Jalen at this time. It was meaningless, and Elaina was unhappy.

Jalen was in a good mood. He picked up the cup and drank his coffee slowly. “It seems that your are not her type.”

That way, Jalen would be much more at ease.

“I’m better than you. You’re just her ex-husband!” Elaina left, and Jaydon no longer maintained his gentlemanly demeanor in front of Jalen.

Jalen didn’t care and was even somewhat arrogant. ‘In any case, I am still her ex-husband, but you have nothing to do with her. So Mr. Becker should not disturb Ella in the future.”

“Who exactly disturbed Ella? Mr. Halton, don’t pretend you don’t know,” Jaydon snorted coldly and got up from his seat. He did not intend to continue wasting time with Jalen.

Jaydon left, but Jalen was still sitting in the private room. Jalen sipped his coffee slowly as if he was thinking about something.

When she got home, Elaina washed her face, especially her lips. She almost broke them. “Damn. Jalen!”

She cursed as she wiped her face. She was in a very bad mood.

Ten minutes later, she came out of the bathroom and sat on the sofa with her phone. Elaina called.

Theodore.

However, what she lacked the most now was time.

After hanging up the phone, Elaina tried to make herself busy. As long as she was free, Jalen’s face

would always appear in her mind, making her grind her teeth in hatred.

When Jalen returned to the apartment, he was not in a hurry to go back to his home. Instead, he stood in front of Elaina’s door and wanted to knock, but he did not have the courage.

After he calmed down, he felt that what he had done before was too much. Would it make Elaina hate him even more?

But he did not regret it. He still remembered the taste of that kiss.

No matter whether he regretted it or not, he was still a little nervous. If Elaina felt disgusted, wouldn’t their relationship that had just eased fall to the freezing point again?

He stood at the door and hesitated for a long time. He finally took out his phone and sent at message to Elaina. There was no reply for a long time, so he turned back to his home.
