Falling For My Contractual Wife (Brian and Grace) novel Chapter 833

Serena answered, "Okay."

Everyone at the dining table saw how sweet the two of them were.

Sharon smiled sarcastically.

She thought, 'If Justin left, there would be no one to protect this poor loser. Then I will be able to easily crush her.'

Thinking of this, she felt overjoyed.

She stood up from her seat and walked to the seat where Justin had been sitting.

Serena was slightly stunned, but she still maintained her politeness and smiled at her.

"Are you used to the food here?" Sharon asked.

"I'm not picky," Serena said lightly.

Sharon smiled and whispered in her ear, "Of course, you're not picky. Our family's dishes are all made by the top chef of Caper Grand Hotel."

Serena's heart sank. Justin had just left, and Sharon had immediately started taking action.

She smiled at her. "That's right. That's why I'm quite lucky to be married to your brother."

Sharon gritted his teeth in anger. "You're lucky."

"Sharon, what are you mumbling about? Let's eat!" Zachary said heavily.

"I'm just chatting with my sister-in-law," Sharon picked up a glass of red wine and said to Serena, "Serena, let me toast you."

Serena put down fork and raised her glass to clink glasses with her. However, at this moment, Sharon's hand suddenly tilted.

Sharon covered her mouth. "I'm really sorry!" Her tone was unapologetic.

The dark red liquid slowly soaked through Serena's sweater. Serena's face turned pale. She picked up the tissue on the table and said, "It's okay."

Sharon narrowed her eyes. "Are you threatening me?"

Serena said, "I wouldn't dare. I need to use your bathroom. I need to wash my sweater."

Sharon was furious. She thought, 'Serena is just a lousy doctor with nothing. What right does she have to speak to me so arrogantly? I have to teach her a lesson!'

Serena had already walked into the bathroom. Sharon's eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of her coat, and a trace of viciousness flashed across her eyes.

Serena simply rubbed the wine stains on her sweater, wiped her undergarments, and walked out of the bathroom.

Sharon was nowhere to be seen.

Serena picked up her coat and put it on, then went downstairs.

The people downstairs had already finished eating and were doing their own things. Sharon looked at Serena with a strange smile.

Serena said, "Zachary, Margaret, I'll go back first."
